Chaos Magic and the Colour of Green (Patreon)

Chaos magic is a mysterious force within the world of Erlmaiden Discordia while Chaos itself is some kind of radiation that can effect its surrounding and organisms differently . The rampaging creatures of the other unknown dimension contains substances which can produce this radiation. That's why humans call them chaos creatures. Chaos particles can be identified due to their green glow. Because of that the sky and clouds take on a green tone whenever a chaos creature arrives through a dimension vortex. 

I do not exactly remember when I came up with the idea of the vague defined chaos force. What I clearly know is that early concepts already existed since my childhood though. When I watched Disney's Sleeping Beauty the first time I was totally fascinated by the visualization of the dragon scene, especially the lime green color schemes has something memorable that represent the fairy's evil power perfectly in my eyes. You can find many similar depictions of the evil presence in pop culture (e.g. the musical scene of the villain Scar in The Lion King or the cover of the Legion episode in World of Warcraft).

At the current status of my story I don't want to give too much away about this mysterious magic force. It will play a crucial role in my manga though, due to the fact that my main character Winrow is one of just a few magic users in this world who can control chaos magic. How does it come?
