When being sneakity, always remember to turn off lamps and lights, or shoot them out if they can't be reached. The blue light on your watch says if you're visible as enemies can't see you in the dark till they bump into you. Makes throat slicing much easier, tovarish!

There's a problem with doing that though. I did try it and found that when I put out the lights, neither I nor the viewer can see anything. :)

Oh, you ought to fiddle with your gamma settings then. Never had that problem myself and I've played metro several times :o
