So far I feel like the first Layers of Fear was a better game, but this sequel definitely has bonus points for the run-down abandoned house creepy factor. Whenever there's a game where you go down into lower and lower levels of darkness with just a flashlight, I just imagine how creepy it would feel to actually be in that kind of situation. It's the thing horror movies are made from!

The main game seems scarier to me. But I really like having the pieces of the story puzzle put together in this DLC, and it's doing a pretty good job of that.
