I sometimes marvel at the bad timing that can happen. Due to (I'm guessing) the extensive walking around airports and the convention, combined with drinking much less water than usual, my gout foot has decided to explode on me. Getting around is now very painful. So... it will be hard for me to get to the meeting place in the tunnel give you your invites. So instead, I'm just going to take the chance and give it to you here. If you are one of my bosses and you are at AnthroCon this weekend and you want to come to the meetup, it will begin at 5:00pm today in my hotel room. That room is 1524 in the Doubletree hotel downtown. I may not be able to walk right now but I'll be dammed if that will stop me from meeting you guys. I really want to hang out with you. So, I'll see you this evening!

Arg! No wonder I missed you. I never checked my email that day (or my patreon all weekend) and so I never saw this message, and I went through that bridge twice between 1: 00 and 1:15. Turns out I was wrong about the parade; the fursuiter gathering started at 1:00 and the actual parade commenced at 2:00. That certainly does suck about the foot so totally understandable you couldn't make it over there. No hard feelings at all, bird! Sorry I missed the get-together. It's just as well, though; I was in a panel that was pretty important to me that didn't let out until 5:30 (not as good a panel as I'd hoped, but oh well), and I had a very important appointment/meeting at 6:00 that was going so well I missed the first half of Story Hour. I'll call it a hot date...at my age I gotta take it where I can get it. :P None the less, it was great to see you again in person. I'd have loved to meet you and say hi and give you a hug (I feel I owe you one) but you were always so swarmed with fans I didn't want to butt in. Here's hoping you had a great con, and with high hopes maybe you can make it to MFF.
