I love hotdogs, probably a bit more than my veterinarian would like me to have them. The best ones are Eckrich all-beef hotdogs, but they're stupid-expensive so I very rarely buy them. Hotdogs are best made cooked over an open fire, especially on a hand carved pointy stick, but when the weather is too cold for that, having a wood stove in the house works just fine as a substitute. I've always loved them with ketchup and pickle relish, but not that store bought crap. My mom cans homemade pickle relish that is a million times better than any sweet relish from the store. In recent months I found that I like mustard, so I've been putting that on hotdogs now and then. Another great topping is to simply spoon a pile of baked beans on top of the hotdog. Now that's good eatin'!
