Still on the road to sobriety, I find myself in a place of sadness for what could have been.

Alcohol, while being harmful when used excessively, does have a long history in societies everywhere. While I don't mind certain furries being associated with drinking, I would like it better if they also talked more about being responsible with it. Responsibility is something parents and schools don't teach anymore and that possibly has something to do with all the whiney victimhood culture today, but that doesn't stop people always reminding others to look after themselves. Because humans are stupid and we need reminding of some rather basic things every now and again. After going sober, how hesitant will you be to drink socially? I'd still love to share a few drinks one of these days.

This was a really good update. I think you're looking great with all of this! You're really showing a lot of energy, bird. Comparing that to the video of you after 7 shots is like night and day. I can't remember the last time I've seen you that blitzed. I do have to agree with you about the glorification of booze in the furry fandom. Over the years I've known of many people who bring metric fucktons of alcohol to a con, go to the local liquor stores to buy more, and of course the bars anywhere near a con get slammed. When someone can be up on stage drinking and the audience is cheering them on, it seems more like a frat party at times. And it seems like at every con there's at least one person who goes to the hospital for alcohol poisoning. We all as a furry community have to be responsible about it. Keep up the great work!
