Vlog #85 - New Phone

Comments

Robert Seth

Unfortunately, now a days. Phones are like computers. You buy the latest one and 2 minutes later it's obsolete. Don't feel bad about it 2. You deserve to spend a little something on your self. For all the fun times and laughter you give us even when you don't have to. I don't think anyone would mind if you did something like that. Well, have fun and don't get to plasterd.

Psh, You need a phone. You said it yourself. Therefore, it's part of your survival. I'm not salty.

Don't feel bad. Like you said, you needed a new phone. Getting a new model means it should last a good long time, and I know the S series have great longevity. I would still be using my S3 if I hadn't switched to a different carrier earlier this year.

Dont forget to squeeze in some food between all the drinking and hair-growing!

Phones are essential these days, so it was a necessary expense.

1. If you don't like spending so much money on a phone, why not get a cheaper model? 2. The money you get from Patreon is yours to do with as you please, that is the point. You work hard for it, you entertain thousands of people for it. So spend it in any way you see fit. Spend it on male strippers and blow for all I care, just make a video about it when you do and we're all good :)

Bird, that's been kind of apparent for years. Several years ago when you were at a con and your head had a 5 o'clock shadow, there was a distinct line about where you're showing now. But don't worry; you're not old until your nutsack reaches the water in the toilet. Look at your patreon money this way: if you were working any other regular job for some company, you'd be making a paycheck that goes towards your survival. And just the same as with your patreon income, whatever you make above and beyond what's necessary for your needs can go towards your wants. Just as an employer should never have any say in how you spend your money, none of have any say in how you spend your money, nor should we. Also, it's not like you're going out and getting a shiny new phone every year, which would be frivolous and which many other people do. Your last phone lasted 10 years and you're looking at keeping this one for 10 years. I'd say that's smart planning and usage of what you buy. Plus, you use your phone for vlogging and such, so it's a tool for your video content creating business. You manage your money more wisely than many people do who work a regular job, even those in my company who have serious job security. And if your new Samsung is waterproof, how will you put it out when it catches fire? :P BTW, my phone is a Motorola Razr from 2003. Still works!
