For you question for japanese BTS songs. Japan is a big consumer of kpop, and BTS was very popular there even in them earlier days. They do japanese albums that contains their song translate in japanese and sometime do original song in japanese like 'Let go', 'Ligths' or 'Stay Gold' Even they have special song for movies like 'Your eyes tell' Ps. Jin and jimin really glowing in japanese song ✨️

hello! I hope you had a peaceful end of the year, thanks for the reactions! About bts songs in Japanese, for kpop Japan is one of its most important markets (at least when bts had not yet become truly international) so it tended to be common for kpop groups to make their promotions and albums in Japanese. The truth is, I'm just Army so I couldn't tell you if this is a practice that continues to be done with all groups, but BTS's last Japanese album was an anthology called The Best released in 2021 that included their biggest Japanese hits. . once again, thanks for the reaction, I will be excitedly waiting for the next reactions of bangtan, borahae! 💜 (English it’s not my first language so I’m sorry if I make big mistakes in grammar 😭)

Okay, biggest thing to know about the BU is that no one is okay. 🤣 I don’t even know how to start to explain. It isn’t just the videos, there is a webtoon and two books, etc. that go with them. It is a very in depth story. It’s fun, but it is a lot. You can dive in deep, deep with it (that website I’m sure would help with that and there are tweeter accounts dedicated to help people understand it and piece it together) or just watch the videos and enjoy the surface level. A lot of the visuals are really beautiful.

You’re correct, JK had an Instagram, but kept changing the style because he didn’t like the ‘aesthetic’ he picked then ended up deciding he didn’t like it and deleted it. He had a ‘secret’ TikTok and army ended up finding it and he decided to keep it and does mostly dance videos on there. It’s fun looking at his liked videos because they’re typically really good dancing or completely unhinged meme type videos.

Ok all my comment here will be regarding the BTS reactions: That beautiful “see you later” song by Jimin is so heartwarming. Tae also released a goodbye for now song with UMI called “wherever u r” I don’t know if it will be requested for next month but I feel you’ll love UMI too so I hope you listen to it even if it’s outside from reactions. Ok for the BU, you’ve reacted to Heartbeat which is were the members had different roles in life (like hobi being a veterinarian) BUT that one is NOT connected to the BU. That one was part of a mobile game called BTS World. The BU can be very confusing but since you’re getting to it after it’s done, I hope it will be easier to grasp. There are several videos explaining the timeline and what goes on but I would recommend you to take notes for these videos as if it were Attack on Titan, to be able to reference past scenes. You mentioned you love behind the scenes, EVERY bts music video has a behind the scenes of how it was filmed, they’re all in the BANGTANTV channel. JK did deactivate his instagram and he does have a tiktok and the story of it was revealed is so funny. He once shared a tiktok through a weverse post, and then realized that his secret account was shown at the top when you opened the link. So everyone began following him and after he regretted his life choice on weverse 😂 he changed his display name and picture and began posting videos of him dancing. Regarding when there are members missing, they always respect their places in the choreographies because even when one of them is not there, they’re still 7. So you may notice how there are spaces that look empty, that’s where Yoongi would be.

Idk if you will ever get the chance to react to it, but BTS has soooo much behind the scenes footage (sometimes I wonder if it’s part of the reason they decided to use bts for their name outside of the Korean full name, they always love their double, triple, etc meanings lol). Every single music video has a Bangtan bomb (the name of their short behind the scenes stuff) and they have longer videos called BTS episodes, both on YouTube. Then each year they have memories of ____ (insert year) with tons more behind the scenes stuff from different events/practices/etc. The amount of bts of bts is truly limitless. I’ve learned so much about what it looks like for preparing for award shows and building a concert etc from it. Lol

I never expected to get our ultimate Jimin comfort song, SHINee singing their hearts out on Palette, THE BU!!, Jung Kook coming out of the shower, my FAVORITE Japanese BTS song, and that purple velvet MJ Hobi dance break in one video. Soooo happy you got to see MMA 2020. I did watch that dance break on a loop for many weeks (months?) after it came out. But forever hoping for the day you watch MMA 2019. It’s the nearly 40 minute one (I’ve mentioned it before and I’ve seen others do so as well). I know that is a chunk of time so I get why you haven’t reacted yet, but truly it is a master class in performance. The whole thing is good but the second half is just gets more and more jaw dropping. I often get nervous to hype something because I feel like it can ruin an experience somewhat to have to much expectation, but I think I’m safe to do so with this one. lol

Closer Than This was such a precious gift, when the video started with Jimin saying it was a song for us I got so emotional and by the end of it I was a crying mess because of the lyrics and the clips. Taehyung also released a song like pretty much now, on dec 30, his birthday, you should check "wherever u r" with UMI. Oh, the BU, I was so confused by it when I became an army haha really excited to see you discovering this universe and how things connect. So, this G.C.F. was showed for the first time on JK's first solo concert "Golden Live on Stage" and then hours later it was uploaded on BANGTANTV. The concert was amazing, I felt so proud of him, you should watch it. And you're right, JK had an Instagram, but he deleted it on febuary 2023 (I think?) cause he didn't use it much, he is also the only member with a public TikTok, who became public cause he accidentally leaked it on a weverse post 😂. We made fun of him for a long time because of that, but he started to use it and he mainly posts dance challenges. And if you like this behind the scenes stuff, you'll be happy to know BTS have behind the scenes for pretty much everything, as a group and solo. Every music video, award shows, music shows, photoshoots... everything, you can find all of that on their channel BANGTANTV, there's a playlist there called "BANGTAN BOMB" with over 800 videos of pure behind the scenes stuff, ever since their debut. The older videos don't have eng subtitles, but you can find it with subtitles on the channel Bangtan Subs, their work is amazing. About the MMA, they don't change the choreo, you can see the empty space where Yoongi should be, no one fills in, it's always there and I love this about them. And speaking of the MMA, I wanted you to react to their 2019 performance so bad, it's my favorite award show performance they've ever done. It's about 40 minutes long, I think you would have to make a video just for it, but it's so worth it!

In Let Go they actually change who sings during each chorus! It's Jungkook and Jimin in the first, Tae and Jimin in the second, and Jin in Jungkook for the last. I think Jin and Jimin shine so much in all their Japanese releases, just so so good

Actually a lot of kpop idols/ groups release Japanese songs and I think the reason why is because Japan is the biggest consumer of kpop. Also idols are more likely to speak Japanese than English!

And the. When he came out of the shower…Oh my. 😂 MMA 2020 was the first award show I watched. I hope you’ll get to watch the entire MMA 2019. There was an MAMA performance. Bts have a couple of albums in Japanese. Some of their sougs sung in Japanese and some originals. Also have official MVs for several songs ie i need you and blood sweat and tears, that progress the BU story. They were affiliated with a Japanese label/Co.

I'm so glad someone sent in "Cowboy Take Me Away." I sent you the boygenius cover of this song awhile ago. I want to shout out Marti on fiddle, since she cowrote the song. I was lucky enough to see the Chicks again this tour. I can't say enough about their musicianship. I think they are the best band in country music bar none. I really enjoyed everything we heard this month. So nice to hear some Bon Iver solo work. Jasmine Sullivan was amazing live! I thought that the Cavetown fun was really sweet, and I loved seeing Lawrence's dedication to their live show. I wasn't familiar with the Kelsea Ballerini song, but was glad to hear it. I wish more country songs were that clever and well-made (I can't stand bro country.) I especially enjoyed the NCT song because it reminded me sonically of a Tori Amos song called "Cruel." We aren't there yet, but I will send it to you sometime. Thanks Mike!
