I love this new album!! I’m so excited to see all of these live. Both the songs for dancing, and the storytelling ones with emotion. It will be epic. She is truly becoming a pop princess!

I think plastic palm trees is about how she moved to LA and she finds the experience underwhelming- she’s said that in quite a lot of interviews about how there are a lot of ‘fake’ people in the LA scene and plastic palm trees just symbolises the great facade of the place.

Love this reaction + album! I initially had the same thoughts after listening to the album since I gravitate toward more slow, deep songs but all of them have grown on me for sure. Soo excited to see these live

i liked her debut album more lyrically as well, but I love how these songs are catchy and easy to listen to!! i can't wait to see her perform these live sidenote: since you like storytelling and deep lyrics, I will forever recommend Alec Benjamin's Narrated for You album! :p
