the signal flare communication is so cool to me as well! we've learnt about it at the beginning of this mission and they also used it as a way to communicate when eren was lifting the boulder. RED - mission failed/titan spotted BLACK - abnormal titan spotted GREEN - change direction of the formation YELLOW - mission sucessful ACOUSTIC - used by Levi while leading the Female Titan through the forest, it emitted a high-pitched noise the bonding between the scouts is so powerful but literally how can eren bite through his own hand and be so casual about it, the boy is tough. but it still doesn't change the fact he's hurting himself and that makes me sad

YES!! Honestly every Levi scene is elite. I can't believe we're almost done with season 1, this is flying by so fast. I noticed you're skipping the intros, I think that's a good call because I do feel they have some spoilers for each of their seasons.

The version I watched had subtitles during those mid episode "slides", and they are quick explanations of various aspects of the show, bit of a shame this version isn't doing that cause I definitely learned and understood some good stuff from them
