I would love a reaction of RAYE's new album “My 21st Century Blues.” RAYE is known for her popular UK dance tracks and writing for artists like Beyoncé, Madison Beer, and Little Mix. She parted ways with her record label in 2021, as they wouldn't let her release music she believed in. This album is a lyrical masterpiece and includes the global hit “Escapism," which went viral on TikTok last month.

Sry to post off topic. To ya'll lucky few that got into the top tier..if you request bts content plz do fun comfort things for Michael. Like the Intro Trailer and compare it to the network broadcast. No one ever reacts to this. Thx for listening. Pick good stuff for us too.

The Divine Feminine by Mac Miller

Wonderful album. Fantastic artist. Thank you so much, I cannot wait for me. Rest in peace, Mac.

you should check out his secret jazz project! its under the artist larry lovestein and the velvet revival - it's just five songs, really lovely, he had such a good feel for making music in general

heather

please do the divine feminine & circles too! and not sure what’s on your hip hop albums list, but hoping you do “4 your eyez only” by j cole :))

Arie Navarrete

YES PLEASE! literally just came back to this post to check if anyone had recommended the Raye album. I loved her last EP 'Euphoric Sad Songs' so much and found the drama with her label so infuriating. The album is beautiful and such an accomplishment for her after everything they put her through 😭

MAC MILLER AAA. I’m so happy listening to this album again with you. I’m only a casual listener of Mac’s music, but I genuinely do love his music. Just repeating what everyone is saying, hope you could do Divine Feminine too! Ken of SB19’s Complex EP is also heavy on the hiphop influences if you’re on the look out for other hiphop music, but his is more of the heavier hiphop with aggressive beats with some r&b thrown in, not like this smooth jazzy hiphop king.

Definitely listen to Circles next!!! You should also check out Mac’s Tiny Desk Performance. You can see a little bit of who he was as a person, and this music live sounds unreal!

I’m only at the beginning of this but some of your comments are making me wonder if you’ve ever listened to Nujabes??

chimelle6

If you haven’t you should check him out. I don’t think it’s something you’d want to do for a reaction I don’t think? He was a producer and dj that is known as being the godfather of hiphop lofi, so his stuff has guest rappers and vocalists. It is definitely different but I could see it being a possible that he could have been an influence on Mac, there is a bit of a similar element. He was active from 1995-2010 when he sadly passed from a car accident. He is my go-to when I need to focus and be productive, not because there isn’t a lot going on it’s very engaging if I want to focus on it, but it also helps me get into this groove of productivity. Anyways, I highly recommend!
