I’m still in the beginning stages of watching this reaction, but I just needed to pause and say you need to go watch Kill Bill (there are 2 movies). It’s one of my all time favorite Tarantino films, honestly probably one of my favorite films of all time. Well … it is pretty gory, so maybe not if that isn’t for you, but if it is I highly recommend.

PLEASE watch Kill Bill (volumes 1 and 2) at some point. Quentin Tarantino is a questionable person, but those films are certified classics and I think you'd enjoy watching them!

What a wonderful voice she has! And I really loved when she went into more of a rap flow, it felt like a nice little sprinkle popping up throughout the album. And I am definitely learning more and more that when you hear that Phoebe Bridgers is on an album to pay attention because she’s always going to add another layer. I also really loved the use of movies to set a mood before even hearing the songs. I really love when different forms of media is brought together like that, like reading a book then it being adapted into a movie or something. There is a Japanese band I’ve been wanting to get into whose music is based off of books. Just I feel like it adds a fun element.

Also I know a lot of ppl have been commenting this on diff videos but I highly recommend the new Netflix show Wednesday after u finish the current shows, it’s seriously so so good and Jenna Ortega is way too talented

Wow this album is so good! I'm sorry to say I had never listened to SZA before (to my knowledge), which is also why I love your platform, it lets me discover so much good music. Nobody Gets Me is just perfection. Also, please watch Kill Bill volumes 1 and 2, they're chef's kiss

Really enjoyed this! I didn't like Shirt when I saw the music video for it but listening to it in the context of the album, I liked it a lot more. Upon first listen I am definitely feeling Snooze and Gone Girl are favourites for me, but I feel like the way I enjoy the songs will ebb and flow with my moods. I was a little bit dubious about the lengthy track list, but it didn't feel too crazy long or anything.

cant recommend ctrl enough! sos is the perfect sister album to it, and ctrl was such an instant classic and created such a devoted fanbase for sza that we all screamed when she finally announced this one five years later and we were running to listen. shes such a special artist and if she gives us this level of quality every five years i can wait

This was my first time listening to SZA and while I did not love everything on this album, I added about half of the songs to my playlists. Nobody gets me and Special made me cry while so many other songs had me vibing in my chair. Thanks for the video Michael, I love discovering new music with you :)
