I'm relatively new to Patreon and trying to access your September Custom Requests but they keep saying they're not able to be accessed. Is there anywhere else I can watch them?

Maya

i see big bang, taemin and max changmin in the first three positions and I'm already in heaven. They're definitely in my top 5 k-pop artists :D

Valerie Schmoyer

Ed surprised taylor, you can see her do a double take when she first sees him

Musical Dinosaur

I would love to see you watch the rest of the hadestown tiny desk concert, it's one of my favorite musicals. Hadestown is like Hamilton where the whole musical is sung through, so if you want the whole story you can just listen to the album & maybe get some extra plot summary from Wikipedia.

Kristina

'Shine A Light' it's a McFly song written by Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones and Taio Cruz in 2010. McFly are still together and next year will be their 20th anniversary!!! I'm loving it. McFly has such a huge catalog of songs it's awesome! I hope one day you will do their discography. Also would suggest watching that whole 10th Anniversary Concert at the Royal Albert Hall... And to have you film yourself so we can watch it would be awesome. Their performance is always top notch and never disappoints.

Here's the "Jin Jin Jin" song: https://open.spotify.com/track/0rQJA3W3c58WQLJRQYr4Tg?si=TW9LHxpNS0OKRDOlvr2cxQ&utm_source=copy-link Not sure why they translated the title weird, but the original is "Jiniya"/찐이야

Helen St. John

Just since I haven't seen a comment about this yet, BTS were actually playing rock paper scissors at the beginning of the dance practice, and it was to decide who would do the solo dance break at the end (it is normally done by J-Hope). Suga lost so that was his own spin on the dance break at the end! 😄

Rachel Aaron

I feel like you would love to watch descendants it’s a Disney movie and there’s 3 of them but Sofia Carson is in them. They are great musicals and very entertaining. Great music also

Kristina

McFly has a new album coming out that is just pure fun! Tom Fletcher has a children's novel coming out in October called 'Space Band' and McFly's made the album Spaced Band to go along with the book. One of the songs is already released, called Nothing Rymes With Sausages.

Kyle

Pls upload stranger things finale by end of month 😫😫 (sry if I’m coming off impatient and rude)

Man, Cynthia's performance of I'm Here will never fail to make me cry. She's a huge inspiration of mine. I did I'm Here in my senior year cabaret solo in high school and I must've watching Cynthia's performance hundreds of times just taking notes. She's gonna be amazing as Elphaba in Wicked. Also, super glad you enjoyed Hadestown!! Idk if it's in the full version of that Tiny Desk, but you should definitely check out Wait For Me from Hadestown the performance they did of it from the Tony Awards. They do a full performance the way it is in the musical so you'll be able to see the whole set and costumes and everything. That song also shows off Orpheus' voice way more than the song in this video did, he's got an amazing voice. Also fun fact about Hadestown, it was originally a concept album that the writer of the musical, Anais Mitchell, collaborated on with a bunch of people including Bon Iver! It sounds really different from the musical but I still love it it's kinda cool to see what she changed and took into the broadway version.

BratNDaHwz

Ed was Taylor's opening act during the Red era (that's why he has the "Red" tattoo). They sang "Everything Has Changed" during her set. This was at the end of the show where he surprised her.

Anonymous

In the dance practice they were playing rock paper scissors (they sometimes use their index finger and thumb for scissors) to see who does the dance break near the end of the song. its usually jhope who does it. suga lost, thats why he was shaking his booty near the end hahaha Here's the link to the jjiniya song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcvHsj40HOQ

BLESS WHOEVER REQUESTED BAEPSAE DANCE PRACTICE.

Jenny V

Oh my god HADESTOWN!! You should react to the cast album it’s sung through like someone said so you don’t miss much plot. There’s also of course the tiny desk where you can supplement some of the songs with that version or there’s other performances with some of the songs. If you’re feeling frisky and do want to share watching it for the first time with us there’s also bootlegs ;)

Shay Brachel

Omg PLEASE react to Hadestown!!! It’s amazing, and although there isn’t an official film of it, the cast recording alone is definitely worth listening (like Jenny V said, it’s basically the whole musical there)

Iva Morris

Taemin is a wizard, Harry. He can do ANYTHING. Piano? Nailed it. Dance? NAILED it. Vocals? NAILED IT. I'm so glad you liked Advice. Thanks for all your reactions, Michael! As far as BIGBANG goes - they are always the source. They are the idols of idols and they've influenced so many that came behind them. They're four talented and brilliant artists!

Samantha

oooooo I hope you checkout at some point Sofia Carson's self titled debut album. Honestly, on of the best pure pop (like pop perfection type) albums in a long time. Funny you mentioned Sabrina to because she actually was in the remake of Adventures in Babysitting with Sabrina. They have a song from the soundtrack together "Wildside" they we're really close for a really long time.

Amanda Vicente

I really love your BTS reactions but I loved that you reacted to Taemin too. Hope you watch more K artists.

Jenny V

The original concept album with anais was so cool to listen to but then the original cast recording (not the Broadway one) took it to a whole new level that I adore. I prefer this version over the Broadway one funnily enough, maybe I’m the only one but it’s probably because this was the only album apart from anais that was out when I got into hadestown so I’m just used to the lyrics more and the epics are better in my opinion. I’m so glad we have that live recording for that cast.

Kiara Moscrip

you should listen to the hadestown album!!

chimelle6

Bahahaha I spoke too soon in pt 1 this month because I said I wanted you to see baepsae dance practice and here it is! So sassy when you add the dance moves with the meaning of the song! This is one of my very favorite dance practices though it isn’t one of their hardest dances it is just such a pleasing one! Yes, they use Rock Paper Scissors for everythingggg! Yoongi/suga failed so he had to do the solo dance (when you said ‘what is going on’ moment 🤣) when they used to do the full choreo in concert Hobi would do that part and it’s fantastic! Btw if you’re curious about what they said in an pre-subtitles era stuff you can paste the title in the search with eng sub after and a video that army subbed (Bangtan subs is my favorite) will pop up! Nothing by them has gone unsubbed 🤣 Oh, and just kpop history, SHINee started the trend of posting dance practices!

EB

Dance practices: I believe it was SHINee that made dance practice videos a thing around 15 years ago. The videos aren’t necessarily true practices where they’re learning choreo and working through formations, but rather a performance video of the finalized, perfected choreo for the song that will be used during promotions. Since MV’s tend to feature only portions of the choreo and music shows may have zoomed in shots instead of showing the full group the whole time, the dance practice vids give fans a chance to see everything. The Baepsae dance practice was a “fun” version - they’re usually more serious and the camera is usually stationary. K-pop groups frequently attend music shows to promote their new music through performances. These are aired nearly every day on different broadcasting networks and the groups compete against one another for wins based on sales, streaming, and audience voting. Examples are Inkigayo, Music Bank, and MCountdown. Groups will be at the broadcasting stations nearly all day for rehearsal, performance, and the winner announcement. The official choreo is what is usually used during these performances (as opposed to a concert version).

chimelle6

Guys, quick! He is enjoying dance practices someone request the Ddaeng (pronounced dang) practice! It isn’t really a dance practice because there isn’t any choreo, more of a vibe practice? Lol but it is such a good time. Ddaeng was a festa song so it isn’t on an album (only found on SoundCloud) but it is the fan favorite of fan favorites and a rapline song. There is a live performance with vocal line joining for the 5th muster and it is also a fan favorite. Here it is with subs (it is a presubs video too): https://youtu.be/SEiT2mO97fA It starts out with rapline in the studio finishing it up then goes into the practice. It is supposed to just be the rapline practicing but the 95z (Tae/v and Jimin) can’t help themselves and kind of take over. 🤣 That is my argument for someone to request it that is able, thank you for your consideration. 💚☺️💜

Ruth

Hadestown is amazing 🤩 so excited that you reacted to this tiny desk

chimelle6

Your back hurting is a real problem. Don’t down play, just because you can do something you enjoy. I hope it gets worked out for you though!

Lexi Strachan

I’m glad you enjoyed hadestown and want to check more of it out! As someone else said the entire album is available to listen to and since it’s sung through you can get the entire story. There are also bootlegs available that give you a feeling for the set design/costumes which really add to the feeling. I’m happy to send more performances the cast has done tho!

chimelle6

No one is better at praising or dissing BTS quite like BTS.

Anonymous

we need more guy sebastian!!!!

chimelle6

Joonie/rm got to meet Nas during the 2020 Grammys (they all performed with little nas x for old town road - which Joonie did a remix called Seoul town road) but he was so nervous he hid behind Hobi. 🤣 Which Joonie is usually the brave one introducing the guys to different people but it was just too much for him. We saw the other members making fun of Joonie in one of their Bangtan bombs (behind the scenes content on YouTube). Btw Bangtan bombs and memories of *insert year* is where we get most of our practice content that isn’t already perfect and still in the process of learning a dance or putting a show together.

Julie B

Taylor and Ed did "Everything has Changed" every night of the North American RED tour. As you have seen before, Taylor does an acoustic set in the middle of her concerts. This is where they sang together. The last night of Taylor's tours are known for pranks. For their acoustic set, Ed showed up in a cowboy hat and boots. Coming on stage dressed as a clown for the finale was definitely a surprise for Taylor. You missed her epic double take when she sees Ed! It cracks me up every time. One small fun thing from the RED tour: Fans brough light-up R's E's and D's to the show. During Ed's set, they put the R's down. It's a small thing, but it was so sweet to see Taylor's fans give Ed lots of love. Also, Nashville has four professional sports teams: the Titans, the Predators, Nashville Soccer Club, and the Nashville Sounds (minor league baseball.) I love the story of how the Predators got their name! In the 1970's when excavation was being done downtown for a new skyscraper, they found saber-toothed tiger fossils. Gnash, the mascot, is a saber-toothed tiger.

Kamdin Holley

yes please react to more of hadestown!

chimelle6

Oh! When you said that Jimin saying they needed to make Yoongi/suga a wasabi birthday cake was evil it reminded me that as a fandom we often say Jimin and Yoongi are slytherins precisely because of things like that. 🤣

Alix Drifty

If you want to watch the stage performance, because it's fun, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUgllsKhi7Y

BTS WAS playing rock paper scissors - for who did the dance break (that j-hope usually does) at the end of the song. Suga lost, which is why he did the comedic "twerking" at the end for laughs. And yes, when they play rock paper scissors, they don't always do the countdown, or they'll only do it for the first throw, but not the subsequent ones.

Chantsy93

I’m about to go to sleep but had to watch the Bts ones before. But first! I’m spying some Hadestown!? OMG I’d love to see that musical along with you! Also, I noticed you called JK “Kookie” in that last video and it made my heart so happy to hear you say that. Your reactions are such comforting content, thank you so much for all the work you put into them.

Rosielauren xo

Cynthia Erivo is probably the best voice apart from jessie j I’ve ever heard. She has a YouTube. Interview where you learn about her and hear her sing!! Listen to stand up by her if you can!!

Caroline B.

Dance practices are the best thing, you can see the full choreo and how they interpret the lyrics in it, and how much they've worked... the official videos they release are at the end of the practice when they've got the choreo perfected, but you can find footage of them actually learning and praticing the moves repeatedly and that's amazing to watch as well, i hope someone requests something like that!! (like the 3J practice for the festa medley for example!)

Jayde Ritchey

Oh, I'm so thankful you liked The Front Bottoms! I know some people find Brian's voice to be a little bit of a barrier, but I truly adore them. This song is from the album In Sickness and in Flames, which was released in 2020 during the first summer of the pandemic, so I think the title is a nod to that. I knew that you'd find the lyrics interesting. It's neat that you found the song cozy because I feel it has a very autumnal vibe and those things kind of go hand in hand imo :) I'm never trying to send you things that you don't like, but sometimes I'm not sure if the aspect that I think you'll enjoy will be outweighed by the aspect that I feel you might *not* enjoy lol I might slip another song or two by them your way in the future, now that I know you like this one. The Superfruit medley is sooo funny lol Scott, Mitch, and Kirsten are so chaotic. Kirsten did release a solo EP around the same time or a little bit before Superfruit released their album, but I'm not sure if she's had the time to release anything else on her own; they all keep pretty busy. I really liked it though, and she's got a couple of acoustic performances up on her channel that are definitely worth a watch! Queen Perrie <3

Hailey Lee

kookie ♥️♥️ , I didn’t even realize he called him kookie

lelmDR.WHO

thanks for all the amazing reactions!! What SHINee was throwing into the crowd were signatures. It's a think in Kpop to throw those like wiffle balls or soft frisbees or sometimes even T-shirts into the crowd. The object itself is usually light and cheap, but before the concert the members will sign them. ususally each member is throwing from their own batched of signed stuff. Those trolleys to move the stars around the arena are pretty common in big Kpop concerts too so they can safely go intereact with fans far away and also give the idols a break from choreo or running around the stage. It was was highclass of Shinee to wait to throw autographs until then to all the fans who didn't necessarily pay for the best seats

Vanessa

They said in the video the name of the artist he missed those subtitles T-T

Rebecca H

That Frozen medley was so fun! I did Love is an Open Door with my friends at karaoke once and the Frozen songs really are just so much fun to sing, it's always a good time :D Glad you got to watch a bit of the Red Tour, agreed it's such a crime we never got a red tour film! At least we do have a few nicely filmed videos on her channel like the one you watched here, but that tour definietly deserved a full movie, I went to see it in London and it was such a great night :D That Perrie compilation is brilliant, she's always stunning with her vocals! And that Greatest Showman video is so cool, I love how Hugh Jackman is always just so in love with performing music, he seems like such a great guy :D <3

Kitsune

Have you seen wizard taemin in the old Ready or not performance? Literally dressed like a wizard 😂

Nicolett

PLEASE react to the full Hadestown Tiny Desk

Kitsune

Bigbang, Taemin, Max Changmin, BTS, and SHINee in one video. 😍 I hope you get to see some of Keys new songs from his album, Gasoline. It's a no skip album

Julie B

I do hope you listen to the cast recording of Hadestown. I think I have liked very comment saying that you should listen to it! It is truly a beautiful, original musical. I was mispronouncing the name of the musical for a good long while. We speak English, not Greek, so it is totally understandable! In English, we are so used to the silent "e" at the end of a word making the vowel long. However, in Greek, you pronounce the "e." So "Persephone" and "Antigone" rhyme with "Hermione." "Euridice" is pronounced U-rid-ih-see. Other examples of Greek words we use in English are "hyperbole" and "epitome." I hope this helps.

Amanda M.

The frozen medley ALWAYS cracks me up. Everything, from Kirstie providing hair for both Mitch and Scott when they perform as Anna, to Mitch trying SOOO hard not to laugh (but his giggles keep coming through) when they're providing his "snow" just gives me such good feels. And they sound incredible even though it's just pure fun.

Iva Morris

No! And I've been shawol for ten years! Where is it? You have to link me!

Anonymous

A fun fact: Cynthia Erivo was in two videos you reacted to here. In addition to the amazing performance of "I'm Here" that never fails to make me cry, she also was the woman with blond hair singing next to Keala Settle in the "From Now On" video with Hugh Jackman. She was called in to help pitch the show, along with Jeremy Jordan and others.

theGeekOutGirl

The song Jin talks about that has his name in it during that BTS interview is called "Jiniya" by Young Tak. It's trot music ^_^

Magdalena Eriksson

l would love to see you react to blackpink!! is all-so a k-pop girl group and i really like them! and l think you gonna like them too!! this too songs are them i like the most 😜❤️❤️🔥🔥 https://youtu.be/ioNng23DkIM https://youtu.be/2S24-y0Ij3Y

Nine Anutza

That guy who was filling in for Jeremy jordan is amazing and has a video out on YouTube called: "the day I saved the greatest showman" where he explains his version of the story from when he got involved with the workshop until this moment where he was sick, hugh just had stitches in his nose, one of the writers who is also a singer was also sick but they pulled through and the movie was greenlight. Jeremy was apart of newsies and has some amazing covers and original music out that you'd absolutely love ❤

Nine Anutza

Also, Cynthia Erivo is just a goddess on Earth. All of her performances from this show are amazing. She has a version from this show of a duet with the recently egot winner jennifer hudson and also, she has an Oscar nominated song from the movie Harriett and the song is called "stand up", she has the studio version and the version she performed at the oscars. She was just in Pinocchio with Tom hanks. She has some amazing vocals and performances that get me every time, especially involving her support to her friends and composers of la la land, dear Evan hansen and the greatest showman benj pasek and justin Paul, every opportunity she had to be there on stage supporting her friends in workshops, etc and she killed it every time.

Yukari

My favorite Taemin solo song is Two Kids. The song really touches my heart. He is so talented! And I’ve enjoyed discovering Shinee. —— As for BTS, there are so many great clips where you get to see their personalities. I really enjoyed the latest Run BTS episode called Telepathy. And when you get a chance you should watch the Rise of Bangtan. There are so many clips of their earlier vlogs even before they debuted. You get to hear in their own words their worries, happiness, disappointments, and they were so open with their feelings.

.☆♡KEZ♡☆.

Your question about "how do they manage to be so thoughtful" even when it comes to this Vanity fair interview perfectly sums up ARMY, IMO. A lot of us fell in love with the way they seamlessly are like this because it is clear it is from their heart and not a script, and thats what makes us relate to them a lot more. You're beginning to feel it too, I think

Iva Morris

Two Kids is such a great song. Every time I hear it, all I can think about is how the fandom all thought Taemin was about to be a dad because his idea of hinting for the song was to post several days of nothing but baby emojis on his ig story 😂

chimelle6

Hahaha I forgot about his posts. He kills me. 🤣🤣 I agree, I love that song too!

DanielleM

Someone probably already commented on this, but in the Baepsae dance practice(Which is one of the dance practice videos where they arn't taking it too serious, though they still kill it!! Definitely recommend checking out more of their fun/silly ones) the guys were playing rock, paper, scissors. I made sure to look it up, what they said at the start is Scissors(Ga-wi), Rock(Ba-wi), Paper(Bo)(When they say it fast it's Ga, Ba, Bo. P.s. their scissors can be the way it's commonly known, using your index and middle finger, or they way some of the guys did it where they used their thumb and index finger. The guys were playing to decided who would have to dance in the middle at the end(Which in real performances J-Hope always does it, showing us many different dances each time). That's why Suga was "Twerking" at the end!🤣 Btw, I am obsessed with Jk's outfit in this video!!!😳🥵😍 Lol! I love, love, love when BTS interviews themselves!!! They are always so much more relaxed, comfortable and truly themselves!🥰

DanielleM

Oh, oh someone please request Michael to react to BTS reacting to fan covers of their songs!!!! It's so awesome!💜 https://youtu.be/JewlhY8DGTI

DanielleM

I might just have to rewatch it again, now that we talked about it. 🤔 Lol!

-Mac-

Watching Dance practices is perfect, you can see everything. I rewatch them regularly because they are all amazing dancers and watching the practices is the best damn thing. The song that is on Seokjin's shower playlist https://youtu.be/X0T8wwbh4Tw Bang Si-hyeok, aka Hitman Bang, aka Bang-PD-nim, is a composer, singer, songwriter, and producer, AND the founder of Big Hit Entertainment [Now called HYBE] is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of HYBE Corporation aka their boss of some 13 years [if you include trainee days] and their friend.

The first time I ever saw Taylor was at a Rascal Flatts concert and it's been love at first sight and sound ever since ❤️

Soren

Thank you thank you thank you to McKenna (hope I spelled that right) for requesting Cynthia Erivo I'm Here; it's one of my favorite performances of anyone ever in the history of the world

Soren

Also I am joining the petition for you to listen to the full Hadestown album :)

Paige

I’m here for any Hadestown content you want to bless us with! You should definitely react to the whole tiny desk and the cast album. It is an absolutely amazing musical and I’m glad I’m here to see you discover it!

Anonymous

I recently got into Selena’s music, and it was actually through her Revelación EP cause I was curious how she would sound. I had no previous knowledge of what she sounded like musically, I mostly knew her from Wizards of Waverly Place and being friends with Taylor. But Revelación blew me away, and I didn’t even listen to any Latin music before. It’s definitely my favorite Selena album and can’t wait for you to check out the whole thing! Also, if and when you do the droplets, you should also check out DJ Snake’s Taki Taki and Rema’s Calm Down both featuring Selena. Thanks for all you do and the hard work you put into your videos!❤️❤️❤️

Jen

We are around the same age and I remember Cascada had done a remix of What Hurts the Most and that's where I remember the song from and later learned that Rascal Flatts originated it. Maybe that's where you heard it too?
