Not only was it the sword that was used to chop off neds head, but it also used to be ned’s sword. The sword is called ice, and was a known valyrian steel sword that was apart of the stark family that was passed down generations. It was such a large sword that tywin was able to turn it into two. Excited for this season!

Only perk of the Red Wedding is that it brought us one step closer to meeting OBERYN MOTHERF***ING MARTELL!!!!!!!! Also they did recast Daario (for the better imo)

As others have said, they recast Daario. GoT kind of stole him from Orphan Black (another AMAZING show and great for reactions if you haven’t seen it) which I’ll never forgive, but he was so much better than the other guy so I can’t blame them 😂 Have a great trip Michael!

you were correct actually! the martells' sigil is a red sun, pierced by a gold spear. and their words are "unbowed, unbent, unbroken" which definitely suits oberyn
