I just listened to this album today and vibed so hard. PLEASE listen to Syd's new album, too; it's already my favourite album of the year and I'm not sure anything will be able to dethrone it for me tbh I think that I interpreted shooter interlude the opposite way from you lol When I listened to it I immediately got the impression that the lyrics were things that were said to her by people in her past after she became famous, because it seemed like it was coming from multiple sources. "I babysat you," "I dated your baby sister," "your daughter should have been mine" etc doesn't feel like it's coming from one person. It's always interesting to hear how different people perceive the same lyrics. I am absolutely in love with the mood of this album. Thank you for your reaction!

She is super underrated and has been the reason I got into R&B. she does have an album ‘SweetSexySavage’ which is a bit more pop but her whole discography is great. Her album from 2020 ‘it was good until it wasn’t’ is constantly on repeat
