hey! just want to clarify.. the last episode of season 1 is homecoming not prom so it would’ve been late october/early november!! so its not that big of a time jump considering the special episodes take place around christmas time.

You kinda missed it when you looked away during the opening "sex dream" Nate was having. In-between him having sex with Cassie, there were flashes of Jules sending him pictures. He was imagining it was Jules he was with, not Cassie. I think that's where the 'in love' with Cassie thing makes sense. He doesn't "love" Cassie, he "loves" that Cassie is a bit more similar (in appearance and personality) to Jules than Maddie was. He was also imagining Cassie pregnant and stuff, which obviously couldn't happen with Jules. I personally think Cassie is like a "cis" version of Jules to Nate. Cassie is also more willing to just do whatever for Nate, where we have seen that Jules doesn't really put up with his 'I love you's and excuses, like he tried in the carnival episode with her.

on the last episode of season 2 when rue did drugs at the end it was after the school dance, she still had the dance makeup on, so this takes off a few weeks later I think, after the special episode.

The euphoria producers posted a bts video for each episode kind of interviewing the actors and giving more insight on the episodes. The videos are about 8 minutes long, I think, and are on youtube. I think it would be so cool for you to watch them after each episode, I found them very entertaining :)
