heaven is the only song produced by jack antonoff - troye worked with various producers and you can see the breakdown of who produced what in the track listing section on the album’s wikipedia page :)

This was one of my first favourite non stop repeat albums I can remember from high school. He has a new song coming out tomorrow I believe! So good timing :) glad you loved the album. I hope you react to his second album as well.

I love this album so much. I've been a fan of Troye for about ten years now, since 2012. I have such fond memories of this album coming out. My dad and I have spent hours listening to this album in the car. My dad always joked around by pretending to not know Troye Sivan's name, but always promised we would go to a concert of his some day together. And my sister and I used to sing "for him." at the top of our lungs on the way to school in high school. The memories I have attached to this album will probably always make it my favorite.

I agree with so many of your thoughts! It’s hard to pick a favorite on this album because there are so many good ones, but I’ve always loved BLUE - it almost feels like he’s the feature instead but I don’t mind it 😂 You should definitely do Bloom next if you want more Troye, it’s a great album too!

I love that you did this album!!! Troye is such a fenomal artist and the amount of times i’ve listened to this album from the ages of 16-22 is insane. Also we both love and dislike the same songs! Hope you do his album bloom soon! He also put out an ep called trxye before this album and an ep called in a dream after bloom :)

A very late comment, but this is one of my girlfriend’s favorite albums and I have such incredible memories of listening to it on repeat both with and without her. I kept reporting back to her all of your opinions while I watched 😅. Incredible watch and review as always, love re-experiencing old favorites with you. It’s like being able to listen again for the first time!

So I've always interpreted Heaven in the same way... the conflict of wanting to believe in a faith that doesn't accept you for who you are. And as others have mentioned, that was his intention with the song. But as someone who just recently went through a break up because of a toxic relationship with someone who also made me incredibly happy, and after hearing this song again just now for the first time in years, it had a whole other meaning to me. To me, heaven is used as a symbol for paradise or happiness with a person. But it's not worth it to lose pieces of yourself or to compromise your beliefs/values to forgive them for the things they put you through just for a few moments of bliss with them. It's like I had to lie to myself that everything was okay so I could be happy with this person, but deep down it was just eating at me so it wasn't worth it.
