i need this video back up bc i love your anpanman reaction

Jay.

please post the video

Iulia Necsulescu

Hi. I'm a new subscriber and I'm doing all your BTS backlog ...for reasons:) Please reupload this video if you can! I'd really like to see your reactions:)

Storm

AH yes I’m so glad someone else requested The Band CAMINO! See Through is one of my favorites, it hits so hard.

FleetstreetVicomte

A few notes about PTX: - yes, that is one of their EPs at the end and the artwork is their logo - it represents 5 keys on a piano... 5 members... the pentatonic scale, which the group is named after. (penta is 5 in latin) - you correctly idetified the bass singer there at the end. his name is Avi Kaplan, and was the original bass singer of the band from 2011-2017 - the other guy you thought might have been doing bass, the black guy, is Kevin. He is the beatboxer, but also sings tenor. - and yes, they all have very broad vocal ranges. Scott Hoying, who you mentioned as your early favourite is the prime example. He sings bass, baritone AND tenor. I recommend their cover of Sound of Silence to hear his lower range. (he also takes over the bass line when their usual bass singer - Avi or now Matt - sings lead)

Virginia

It is definitely time for you to do an introduction to BTS — they give a bit of background for each of the members (like how Jhope is a dancer and actually didn’t start rapping until after he joined bts)! It’s definitely worth it! Love your reactions as always 💕

Virginia

Also for Anpanman — the award shows don’t do the best at recording the choreo cause they cut away/zoom in a lot (understandable but annoying when trying to watch the whole choreo). I would recommend watching another performance so you can see the full choreo because it is one of my favs).

Cat

You should definitely watch BTS dance practice videos! There the video is focused on the choreography itself and its soooo good! You’ll be blown away im sure :>

Leilonie

I’m so excited for you to get into more bts live performances. If you were shocked by this choreo then your in for a journey my friend😂

Giu Bressani

hi! always love to watch your bts reactions! This The Truth Untold performance is from their Love Yourself/Speak Yourself world tour from 2018/2019 and yes, their concerts are the best in the world! They always mix up ballads and upbeat songs and also solo, unit and OT7 performances, with our without choreo so it's always very dynamic and it never gets boring, even if it's always around 2h30 to 3 hours long. You should definitely check out one of their concerts one day! And j-hope is absolutely the king of the stage and it's so funny to watch you react to his stage presence because it's honestly even more impressive in person. You cannot watch BTS live and not fall in love with him. And if you loved this choreo, I can't wait for you to watch stuff live their ON kinectic manifesto film, which personally is my favorite body of work of theirs if you consider the song + choreo + visuals etc, I think it really showcases how insanely talented they are AND ALSO!!! First rule of kpop: do not get attached to their hair colors lol they will change it like 5 times a year so it's really useless to try and learn from that

Laura

Everyone falls in love with hobi (j hope) after watching a live performance! 😂 his stage presence is top tier! If you get the chance him performing just dance live will blow your mind 🤯 https://youtu.be/G_KeJePH7oU

Ellie

There's a joke that no matter who your bias was when you got into a BTS concert by the time you come out it'll be Hope haha Seeing him live for the first time was mind-blowing, this man was born for the stage honestly Also yay for more PTX I second the above comment recommending the Sound of Silence video, it's one of my favorites!

Makenna

hey michael can you respond to my direct message about my custom request from back in august? hope all is well ✨

Theresa Tucker

Went to my first bts concert in LA last month and it was hands down the best concert I've ever attended. Their singing, rapping and dancing are outstanding but they accompany that with creative staging and theatrics. You ride a wave of emotions from inspiring upbeat songs to deep emotional ones. On top of all that you get to see their genuine love for performing. They have fun on stage and with each other. Seriously I went from tearing up during their performance of Black Swan it was so beautiful to laughing my a** off when V and Jin were giving us their Squid Game humor towards the end of the concert. Several times throughout the concert they stop and each speak to ARMY. It is so endearing to hear them speak from the heart. It had been just about two years since they had performed a live concert in front of people and several of them got visibly emotional about it when talking. Their vulnerability and ability to connect to people through their lyrics is so special. They are wonderful human beings and I can't wait to go to another concert! Love your reactions by the way 😊💜💜💜

April Wier

I love how this song is so almost off-putting at the beginning, that when it explodes you are so surprised, haha. There is so much dopamine in this song. I had it on repeat for an embarrassingly long time.

April Wier

This is always so much fun! Thanks Michael, you never fail to please.

Fabiana Souza

it's time for begg to know that jhope's nickname is sunshine haha, he is literally a energy ball that feeds the entire group and fandom ❤️

Lisa Reid (Sophrishea)

There are also dance practice vids which are just the dancing and never cut away. Love them for getting all the sweaty moves <3

Rebecca H

I love this Little Mix interview, they're just so fun! :D Love your reaction <3

Jared Scoggin

JoJo and PJ’s voices go so well together. And I looked for it at the Grammys, but I guess they didn’t perform it there. It won in 2020.

CGoerlich

YES, I'm so glad you enjoyed "Little Drummer Boy." This was a part of Carrie's Christmas album "My Gift." She has two versions of the album out. She even did an HBO Max special for it. There's a video, in the special, of her in the studio with Isaiah and it's so adorable. I would highly recommend watching the special. It came out in 2020, so he was about four years old. Carrie has another son as well and she's married to former hockey player, Mike Fisher. Loved your reaction! :)

H

Love your BTd reactions!!! You are just adorable and I love you 💜💜💜 I think J-hope is king of stage presence and you have even seen Baepsae (another song with great lyrics and meaning). Even the members take a moment and just stare at J-hope in concert during that song.

Hailey Lee

Please react to the "Introduction to the 7 Members of BTS by Ida S 2021 Update" https://youtu.be/kGRlqyuky2s. This one is the best one so far.

Kathryn T

Here comes my novel length response to your BTS commentary so apologies in advance for the rambling. You mention that this is so much more than anyone for effort put into an award show, but for BTS this is actually on the lower end. The two best in my opinion is 2018 and 2019 MMA performances. You haven't heard all the songs yet for 2019 but I would HIGHLY HIGLY recommend checking out 2018 MMA. They're both really long but so worth it. MMA also tends to be better (although still not perfect) than MAMA with their camera work. I would also recommend checking out an Anpanman performance from the Speak Yourself tour. There's no choreo but if you want to see them enjoying themselves or pick up on their personalities this is a perfect one. I've been lucky enough to see BTS 8 times live and I can tell you, there's no better performers out there. Not only is the actual stage production so immaculate but the boys put their everything into every single song and it really translates to something that I don't know if you can get through a screen. Also ARMY are the nicest people in general so spending days with them at venues is such a lovely experience even if there are a lot of line ups involved. And as was mentioned above, no matter who your bias is going in, J-hope will be either tied or have taken over as your bias by the time you leave. His energy is amazing, not to say the other boys' isn't but its just something special about him. Truth untold was at the time of that tour my favourite BTS song and not only do the boys sing it so lovely but Army sing along so loud for this one. And its perfectly bracketed by Jin's solo Epiphany (which also has army singing together about loving ourselves) and Outro: Tear to keep the feels going.

Hailey Lee

For the next BTS album "You Never Walk Alone", ARMYs have compiled links to their eng lyrics, mv's and live performances. It's also all in order for you. I already attached those links by private message. You can check them out if you want to :) We want new ARMYs to get the best experience to enjoy BTS's amazing discography :)

Tess Stern

Loved that you got to watch Highwomen! You inspired me to go watch Brandi and Miley and I was so pleasantly surprised! The Story by Brandi is one of the best songs ever written and it’s an EXPERIENCE to listen to. I was wildly impressed by Miley on that song.

Grace

loving the ptx reactions! they do very occasionally use instruments but they're always placed in the video, for example the beatboxer kevin is an incredible cellist and he plays cello for some songs and you'll see it in the video. besides that it is all a cappella, in their original music they do use some more production tricks with reverb and filters on the vocals but it all starts with the vocals and no other tracks. also you'll be surprised with what they can do, you said you know what to expect for the general sound of vocal groups but they do some very cool pop music, r&b, very heaby bass drops and electronic sounding stuff with just their voices. i recommend that whatever album you end up checking out from them you watch a music video for any tracks that have one, they definitely enhance the experience because you can see who's singing what and they're never very distracting just focused on the vocals

Janet Michelle

I am SO excited to watch your BTS journey. I know that it can be overwhelming. Just take your time and enjoy the music and I hope you love the story line. They're truly one of a kind. I hope that you watch MMA 2019 soon and I'm sure you will. Have fun with everything and ARMY will support you and help you with anything you need. :)

EB

I laughed when you commented about the amount of effort for Anpanman. While the performance is very good and a lot of fun, it is one of their more simple ones. I think MMA 2019 set a new standard for performances and IMO is one of their best. It is 37 minutes long (yes, during an award show) and your jaw will be on the floor by the end. Also, the camerawork is a lot better and there are very few cutaways to the audience (a few portions are actually pre-recorded to allow for costume changes and because some parts couldn’t be recorded with a live audience - you’ll know why when you see it!) It will make any performance at a Western awards show look like child’s play. Would definitely recommend checking it out! I’m excited for your next BTS album review but wanted to say that while I joined for BTS content, I’m really enjoying the other content as well! I’d never heard The Vamps before, but I will be checking out more of their stuff.

Cat L

I'm glad you enjoyed these BTS live performances. I've been a fan for 7 years, and BTS are the kings of live performances. They are, for me, the only band I prefer liver 100% of the time. They are such amazing and hardworking performers. To me, this performance of Anpanman was good and super fun, but more on the tame side compared to what BTS can deliver, and the camera work was definitely shitty. Yes, J-Hope always brings the energy. He's their dance leader and a professional hiphop dancer.

Tessa

I’m not gonna lie but anpanman is probs one of their easiest choreos….. if u wanna see some absolutely insane choreo u gotta check out “on” or “fake love”

Monika K

I'm so happy to have you react to some more BTS live performances it makes me so happy! :') please, please, please whenever you have a chance, react to their MMA 2019 performance its 37 minutes but its beyond worth it <3

Tessa

Omg yes pleaseee mma 2019 is literally insane

Jayde Ritchey

Oooh, this was a good run of songs this month! I picked up a few new things from this, and I don't always. Really excited for pt 2. I knew that you'd love Riley! She performed the whole EP live and it's totally worth a listen because she non-stop killed it. Brandi's voice is so captivating to me. I don't listen to a lot of country music, but her album By the Way, I Forgive You was on repeat for me all throughout 2019. There is SO much Pentatonix stuff to uncover and sift through, if you choose to do so. All the members, past and present, are so, so talented and have given so much over the years. It's hard to pick a favourite voice; for me, it changes from song to song lol As far as them using instruments, sometimes they'll collab with other artists, and sometimes they'll use cello because Kevin (their beatboxer) plays, but otherwise they're almost strictly a cappella. I like their covers more than their originals as a rule of thumb, but some of their originals are really lovely as well. I can't get enough of FINNEAS' voice; I hope people keep requesting him, or that you get the chance to check out his album for the channel. He moves between sadboy and sexy in a way that is really interesting to me lol Perrie is so funny because she just will not admit that there are things she can do that the other girls can't. It's not even, like, a bad thing, because there are things Jade can do that Perrie can't etc etc because they have different types of voices. That's okay. And YET lol She cracks me up.

Oleksandra Yakubenko

If you are amazed by Anpanman performance, you would he blown by their other award performances😆 lile MMA2018, and actually any MAMA or MMA awards show from 2016-2021

Jinzhi

Truth Untold live was such an experience. A BTS concert is always just above and beyond with how jampacked the setlist is. It's just crazy honestly, their stamina to pull off the dances and sing and rap as well. Most recently, I attended their 4 shows at Sofi Stadium and they were crazy. They did only group songs for the entire set so none of them had a break in between minus the costume changes and the encore but the energy and the quality of the performance never suffered. I think I was more out of breath than they were and I was just in my seat. And the Hobi (J-Hope) breakdown is so understandable. I'm pretty sure we all leave the concert venues with Hobi as our bias or wrecker. The more live stages you watch, you will be more and more captivated by his stage presence (all of their stage presence actually). I'm excited for you to see more of their stages if the Anpanman one has already stolen you, thats just the beginning, just a taste. As many above have mentioned, their MAMA and MMA stages are just crazy. Personal favorites would definitely be MMA 2018-2020. But I also suggest watching one of their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour DVD videos especially since you have tackled the LY-Persona era albums already, even at your own time. That has to be one of the best concert experiences one could ever have in their lives, the production and BTS themselves went crazy. There are numerous sources online for them if you were interested! The full Osaka edition of Speak Yourself tour can be found on Youtube I believe.

SB

Hellooo!! I really really highly suggest you also check out a group called SEVENTEEN!! They are SO SO incredibly talented and I promise you won't be disappointed when checking them out! They are one of the most popular groups in South Korea with BTS!! Here are three really amazing performance videos I suggest checking out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5mXfk8NkF0 - ALL MY LOVE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sf4B8QDW_Fo - ANYONE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMUTGybgEM4 - HEALING (unfortunately these live performance videos don’t have eng subs but I managed to find a fan made version of the first song so at least that one has captions!!). Have a wonderful day!! 😁

Jenna

I couldn’t hit play fast enough when I saw the first three reactions were both BTS and Band Camino! You’re the only reactor i’ve seen react to the Band Camino so far, so thank you for taking the time! Rest assured you’d have one more view and like from me if you choose to do more Camino reactions in the future. If you’re wanting to see their other sides try out “Black and White” “Berenstein” “Sorry Mom” or “Haunted” :-) And thank you for the BTS reactions as usual! Learning names and faces of kpop groups can be a challenge, but that also makes it feel rewarding when you finally feel confident.

Jenna

i second reacting to ON kinetic manifesto!! https://youtu.be/gwMa6gpoE9I

Nicole Sams

I’m seeing Luke Combs in March at a country music festival, it’s something I’m most excited for this year actually, his song dear today is beautiful you should really give that a listen! And also Chris Stapleton Tennessee whiskey! (Even his whole first album really!) he’s a country/blues kind of artist and his voice is great too!

Allie

As always it’s amazing watching your reaction videos! Thank you so much for all the love and effort you put into it. I encourage you to react to The Vamps past albums, I assure you, you won’t be disappointed.

CC

Yes bts live performances are amazing! You got all the names right in the truth untold - I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it really quickly once you get to their music videos. Anpanman is an amazing song to hear live - and yes, J-Hope is honestly a born performer. He just has this charisma that draws you in. Looking forward to You Never Walk Alone (personally my favourite album after MOTS: 7!) I’m really happy you’re diving into more Pentatonix! What I found most beautiful about this music video was that the cards they were passing around were each things specific to a member and things they shared with the member next to them. So Mitch and Scott are both gay, Scott and Avi are both men, Avi and Kevin are both american (as they all are) and Kevin and Kirstin are both christian. So they pointed out all the labels that apply to them, how different and similar they all are, and then with that GORGEOUS 5 part harmony they basically pushed all those labels aside like a cleansing and drew attention to their and our humanity. It blew me away when I first watched it in 2017, so beautiful.

Kat

you should totally react to "The Rise of Bangtan" on youtube. it's a fan-made documentary that really gives you good, informative insight on how bts came to be and also allows you to get to know the members as people in a really intimate way. it's so well done and thought-provoking

asiaha78

If you want to see the whole dance performance of BTS's Anpanman, here's the link - they were wearning the outfits of real life heros there - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkLMPihvKaQ&ab_channel=MnetK-POP

Hailey Lee

Totally agree. If he wants to jump into BTS documentaries, nothing tops 'The Rise of Bangtan' in my book. Also, considering the opinions and questions about BTS lyrics he has asked, he will definitely love the documentary. It is also great for him to understand the world of Kpop, how different it is to western music.

Julie B

Best line: WHAT IN THE MARIAH CAREY WAS THAT?! Thank you to the requester who always asks for Tyler Childers. He has not missed yet. I would love to see him live when I can. The Luke Combs song reminded me of several other country classics like "Don't Take the Girl," "Two Sparrows in a Hurricane," and "How Can I Help You to Say Goodbye." The chorus applies to every verse, but the last verse is always about death. Country comes at you hard and does not apologize. Are there any other Swifties out there who recognized the studio in P.J. Morton and JoJo video? The studio reminded me of her 2020 AMA Artist of the Year acceptance speech, made a couple weeks before she surprise dropped evermore: https://www.deseret.com/entertainment/2020/11/23/21591564/taylor-swift-american-music-awards-amas-artist-of-the-year-recording-old-albums Amber Riley sounded smooth as silk. Loved it! I'm really glad you enjoyed the Highwomen. I may have to do a custom request sometime for the Highwaymen, with Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristopherson, and Waylon Jennings. Their song "Highwayman" was written by Jimmy Webb. The Highwomen also recorded "Highwomen" with new lyrics by Jimmy Webb, but from a feminine perspective. Yes, Michael, there is one Highwomen album, released a couple of years ago. Natalie Hemby has been working as a songwriter for many years in Nashville, but she just released her first solo album, "Pins and Needles." If you dive into Brandi Carlile's catalogue, I recommend you start with her self-titled debut from 2005 or her second album "The Story" from 2007. On T-Bone Burnett's advice, Brandi and the Hanseroth twins saved their better songs for their second album. This is why Brandi's debut album is good, but her second album is ICONIC. Thanks for the wonderful reviews. :)

jade

i don't know if anyone else mentioned this but ignore me if they have, the lights in the anpanman video are lightsticks called army bombs! so kpop groups all have unique kpop lightsticks that fans can buy and bring to concerts/performances etc. i know the army bombs have a feature that means they can be programmed by bighit (bts' label) to flash different lights at concerts and they can make bigger pictures out of it which is amazing. so anyone you saw with a light in anpanman was an army! :)

jade

also in the anpanman performance you thought it was jin, jimin and suga doing the dance break but it was actually jungkook, jin and suga :) i think a great way to distinguish jimin is his voice as i think he has the lightest and sweetest voice in the group whereas jungkook has a stronger voice as in it sounds more leant in to (if you know what i mean by that). i'd say jin's voice sounds quite musical theatre like and 'proper' to me, at least that's how i distinguished him when i was a baby army; he always stood out as someone who enunciated very clearly. and v was by far the easiest to remember when i was starting out getting to know them as he has the deepest voice in the group although i would say his range is the biggest as he can go very deep but also very high! and you were so spot on with hobi's stage presence! he started out as a street dancer and only learned how to rap when he joined bts (they were originally going to be a rap group but it changed into an idol group [name for kpop artists in korea]), he's one of the best dancers in kpop hands down and that really translates into his rap style and stage presence. jimin is also an amazing dancer as he trained in contemporary and also ballet (i think, i'm not as positive about the ballet but i know he 100% trained in contemporary) when he was younger. jungkook, before bts debuted, travelled to la to develop his dancing and is also part of bts' dance line (they have different lines within the group. vocal line = all the vocalists, rap line = all the rappers, hyung line = all the older members a.k.a jin, suga, jhope and rm, maknae line = all the younger members a.k.a jimin, v and jungkook, and dance line = jhope, jimin, jungkook and v (v was added after his solo singularity after their choreographer saw how well he danced). honestly, i would say because there's so many of them it's hard to distinguish voices and faces clearly at the very beginning but the more you watch from them, especially stuff that shows their personalities, the easier it is! :))

Kat O

Micheal doesn’t realize the slow build he’s been on with this BTS journey. It’s proving to be one of the most satisfying progressions I’ve watched with a reactor so far to date. He has no idea the levels he still has to climb with this boys. I can’t wait! Anpanman performance is literally kids play for these guys live performance wise!

Danyela R

i’m excited to see more BTS reactions !! :)

Mel Saville

Hair Too Long is one of my favourite Vamps songs.

Karen Brew

Great reactions as usual, you should check out Little mix at home documentaries on their YouTube channel.

Michael Beveraggi

How many times have you seen them live Gui? A 3 hour concert is insanely hard to keep an audience engaged but if anyone can do it I know it’s them!

Michael Beveraggi

Ooo I’m glad you got to check that out Tess!!!! Brandi was my favorite non Miley part of the whole show!

Giu Bressani

I've been to four concerts! Two in Brazil in 2019 and two in LA this past december (and honestly would've gone to all 4 dates if I could, you can never get enough)

Ricchi

If you thought that this Anpanman performance was the best you've eve seen, I REALLY can't wait for you to watch the other award shows performances, they are absolutely MINDBLOWING ! Insane !!

Kate N

I saw NSync about 8 times back in the day and loved them, but you’re absolutely right that BTS is on a whole other level. I saw them live for the first time this past December and it was hands down the best concert I’ve ever been to. You mentioned above 2.5 to 3 hours being a long time to engage and audience, but they are masters at what they do and it goes by in a blink of an eye. Also, performance aside you just feel like you are experiencing something profound. In a recent interview Jimin said that performing is more about sharing than about standing on a stage for people to watch you. I think this really gets at part of what makes them special live, you really feel like you have shared something both with them as well as with ARMYs, with the supporting crew/staff, everyone. It’s really quite remarkable. 💜

knjoon

Hello! I have never commented but god do I live for your BTS reactions. I have been an ARMY since 2015 and have seen them every tour from WINGS. I can honestly and whole heartedly say that BTS concerts are home. Never have I been in a place of so much joy, love, excitement. Not only do they put on a fucking show, they have so much fun on stage; they’re always authentically them in whatever they do and the stage is no exception. They support their staff, their backup dancers, their band - it’s just amazing. They are such good people and you can feel and see that the moment you see them. I could go on forever, but I won’t. Thank you so much for always being so kind and having such respect and thoughtful things to say. 🖤

RobynEilish97

If you were ever feeling up to it BTS have a 45 minute award show performance from the 2019 MMA awards and it’s incredible. They throw back to a lot of their old discography in it though so maybe once you complete their albums? love your reactions Michael, hope you’re doing well ☺️💜

blue side

stage monster j-hope!! you will NEVER catch him slacking during a performance he's INSANE

Storm

Part 2? 🥺👉🏼👈🏼

Jacqueline

So glad and happy, that you like The Vamps. I always look forward to your reactions, because you really seem to enjoy their music. Can't wait for another album reaction!

Les

Jhope is everyone's bias wrecker bc his performance is always amazing. Check out his Just Dance stage

Vanessa

You got the BTS members correct (most of the time), and I've seen them on their WINGS tour in 2017. They were amazing, i was so far back in the arena that the light show it self was so good to look at. (Cypher 4 with the three rappers went off the hardest and the crowd was vibing). In terms of J-hope's stage presence - He has a background in street dance he actually had to learn how to rap when he joined the group and was recruited from his dancing skills. Also if you had watched ANPANMAN on their concert set up they have a bouncing castle set on stage.

CheshiereCatt

I would love to see ur reaction to their mma performance from 2019 pretty much the last performance when they got to showcase without limits and its breathtaking, warning you will probably need to dedicate this performance its own video ( its about 40 mins long)

Sarah

I loved watching you watch BTS songs live that you're already familiar with like The Truth Untold. I feel like that's the best way to really appreciate the performances, to know the songs and lyrics first. Really looking forward to more and the next album reaction :D Take care

2023-05-04 15:55:00 BTS are AMAZING performers. Whether it's the vocals, choreo, or just simply stage presence, they always serve. They put a lot of effort into everything. J-hope especially is the king of stage, his energy is unmatched. V is also known for his great stage presence, especially for his facial expressions and confidence. I haven't been to any of their concerts but I've seen a lot of them online (the full thing) and they do an amazing job at planning the setlist. They usually group songs that work well together (ie 4 hype songs in a row) or crop the whole concert into parts with different themes, so that also their outfits fit the vibe etc. They usually have a few breaks in between, during which they talk to the audience or play a VCR and change outfits/catch a breath in the backstage. ... Anpanman has one of the easier choreos I'd dare to say - Idol, ON, Black Swan, I'm Fine, Fake Love and other songs (from which a lot you haven't heard yet) have it much harder, but it's always a pleasure to watch it. Jimmy Fallon had a "BTS week" where they performed 5 songs every day (Dynamite, Mikrokosmos, Idol, Home & Black Swan), you can give it a go. However, asian award shows (such as MAMA and MMA) are usually much better than american shows (they give them more time, the production, stage design and everything is actually insane), so if you want to be mind blown, you can watch those. Either way, I'm so glad you're getting into their live performances and MVs (hopefully soon)! It's just as good as the music itself, so basically falling for BTS all over again.

Either way, I'm so glad you're getting into their live performances and MVs (hopefully soon)! It's just as good as the music itself, so basically falling for BTS all over again.

BTS are AMAZING performers. Oh, and don't feel bad if you don't know who is who yet. Like you said, you'll get there one day, and in this video you actually did great at recognizing them! The more you'll watch them the clearer it's gonna be. It's only about time.

i've seen thousands of concerts (not really, but over 20 lol) and i think the top 5 artists i've seen live are definitely BTS, One Direction, Taylor Swift, Seventeen (another kpop group) and Justin Bieber. (say what you want about Justin, but his concert was phenomenal). BTS i've seen TWICE and god, it's an amazing experience. Once was in the nosebleeds and the second was fifth row, and both were great.

MAMA is a huge award show in kpop, every group kind of gets a big intro like that if they're a popular group. I guess it can be similar to the VMAs but MAMA is very top tier for performances. There's usually 3 or 4 groups that get long stages and lots of cool sets and stuff. BTS of course get the most cause they're the biggest group and i think you use your own money from your company (someone can correct me) so it makes sense they get nice stages. This is actually a pretty tame performance compared to most of theirs. There's also the MMAs which are huge as well and have fancy sets :)

One more comment LOL, V and Suga change their hair colors the most for sure. Suga threatened to sue their company if he ended up bald cause of how much they were dying his hair haha. I think V likes dying his hair, so thankfully not an issue for him. But they just have the faces that suit any hair color. Jimin dyes his a lot too, they all do. Jin and Jungkook don't as much though. The way you're learning about BTS is so interesting since most people know J-Hope for his dancing (he's the main dancer) and stage presence, then they find out more about his great rapping, but you're the opposite. It's weird but kind of cool since he learned rapping after joining BTS and was a street dancer first, so it's nice seeing his rapping acknowledged first even if dancing is his love.

I've been to 3 BTS concerts and 22 other concerts and BTS is the best you can get. P!nk comes close, her concerts are also an amazing experience. Another one whose almost at their level is G-Dragon and he's a leader of Bigbang (one of the biggest k-pop groups before BTS, they debuted in 2006) so I imagine their concert would be also great but I hadn't had a chance to see them as a group only G-Dragon's solo concert. When it comes to the BTS concerts there are no bad seats. I had a floor ticket (like 15 meters from the extended stage), then a ticket somewhere in the middle and a ticket almost at the top of the Wembley stadium. Sure, it's great to be close and see them with your own eyes but being at the top and feeling all the energy from the whole stadium is another kind of magic.

I haven’t read all the comments, but I sure hope someone pointed out how many times he actually saw JK and didn’t realize it!

Loved your reactions to BTS. That Anpanman performance was seriously one of their more relaxed ones, despite J-Hope’s incredible energy. The Fake Love performance that came before that was the one with the serious choreo. If you want intensity you should check out MAMA 2017 Mic Drop, MMA 2019 (its like a whole BTS concert within the show) and also the whole intro to Idol for MMA 2018. The intro to MAMA 2018 Airplane pt 2 is also insane. Their live performances are just on a whole other level.

Bangtan is life

There’s saying within the fandom that no matter who your bias is you always leave a BTS concert as a Jhope bias 😂 he’s already my bias, so not sure how I’d survive! Also this performance only scratches the surface of what these boys can do, just letting you know! Whatever you know about other groups or boy bands, add a 100 and you have BTS !!

Idk if you will get this message since it so so late, but I really enjoy watching you get to know them. If you haven’t I highly recommend watching the Anpanman performance from Today Citi Music Series. Even though their isn’t a live audience it is one of my favorites performances of this song from them. Their are many things to love about this performance from BTS. One they are having fun, they are dancing really well and three how they tied in their music albums. I love the intro of this performance sooooo much. I love how they changed power into love, because love can change so much. In my opinion, love brings happiness wether it be through how we treat one another or serving others, being friends, being kind/nice. I also love that they thanked ARMY (and another person who have influenced them like parents) by saying that they taught them how to love. Which love is the most powerful weapon…

I just came back to this again after seeing Luke Combs live and he was most definitely one of my best live experiences, I’ve a huge fan of country music, and his voice and his music is something I can listen to over and over without fail, you should definitely listen to some more of his music, ‘dear today’ ‘when it rains it pours’ ‘Six feet apart’ are just some of many, if there’s enough country fans here maybe an album reaction! They’re amazing!

I love this anpanman performance, but believe army when they have probably already said before me that you are just scratching the surface of the mama and mma performances and I am so freaking excited for you to watch the others over the years. Asian award shows are on another level for performances and BTS are the kings of them. MAMA gave BTS 37 minutes in 2019 for their performance and they filled every last minute of that performance with energy but ESPECIALLY the last about 20 minutes, I have never seen anything like that ... I don't know if I'll ever see anything quite like that again. There are some really big moments in their speeches during those shows too. I have recommended watching the docuseries 'Rise of Bangtan' before, but just wanted to say that there are snippets of a lot of the big moment speeches from award shows are on there.

The more live performances you see, the more you'll realize J-Hope OWNS the stage. The saying goes that everyone leaves a concert a J-Hope bias, lol.

LOVE LOVE, WATERPARKS! You got to see them! That's awesome! I 'm so glad you like them, I would love to see you dive in and react to their older albums, I love them so much! I think you would enjoy them a lot! :)
