Now for tours :)

Was waiting for this! I knew you're gonna love these videos. You should also see I Bet You Think About Me and Safe And Sound videos. 1989 tour is obviously fantastic but I really think you're also gonna enjoy the Speak Now tour because it's very Broadway-like. And the Fearless one is fun because it's also a documentary and it really shows how Taylor was just another teenager back then, genuinely excited about everything. <3

This past week was quite hard for me and this video really put a smile of my face. Thanks for what you do.

I finally got to watch this early holiday present from you and enjoyed it sooo much, thank you!! As many before have mentioned, i‘d love if you did the I Bet You Think About Me Video and for tours if you continue with 1989, it’s in full and HQ on YouTube and has AMAZING clips of behind the scenes and guests in it and I simply CANNOT wait for you to see it🥰 Happy Holidays Michael!!

I know that I’ve said this before but… “Safe and Sound” with The Civil Wars. It came during the Red Era but it’s got such a folklore/evermore vibe to it. It’s genuinely one of my favorite songs

Totally commenting this again as 'City of Lover' Live came up on my YouTube dashboard! Taylor played the Lover album in Paris in September 2019 before Covid came and washed out plans to officially tour that album as we know. It's 40 mins and she sounds and looks amazing, and we get her mini speeches before each song we all love her for.

In the YNTCD video, Ryan Reynolds looks like he is recreating Norman Rockwell's self-portrait. Rockwell was known for painting scenes of Americana. I think what Taylor is trying to say is that the LGBT+ community are an important part of American society. The couple getting married are Jessie Tyler Ferguson and his actual husband. The "Mom, I am a rich man" needle work is a Cher quote. The dice at the beginning of the YNTCD video add to 13. When the ME! video came out, we knew nothing about Lover, not even the title. Saying "you need to calm down" in the opening dialogue was a huge clue. Apparently, you can also hear a bit of YNTCD on an accordion at the beginning of the ME! video. Also, the city in the ME! video looks like a combination of London and Paris to me. I see landmarks that look like Notre Dame in Paris and St. Paul's in London. Big Ben is definitely in one shot. The background of the video sort of looks like a butterfly chrysalis.

I know this comment is late, but did he ever watch the "I Bet You Think About Me" music video?? I think he'd also love her song with the Civil Wars "Safe and Sound" and that music video too. :)

Bangtan is life

I think maybe the reason why Lover doesn’t resonate with everyone is because it’s a very grown up and happy album compared to the others (not folklore and evermore because they are in a league of their own) .. it’s just me thinking out loud tho

This is so late, but I also feel like in part since she didn't get to properly tour the album because of Covid? That era was so short lived and then folklore just gained so much attention and it got lost.

I don't know if someone has already commented this. But I am going back through all the old videos after the midnights release. The orange room where they are sitting on the ceiling, they are playing mastermind. Which was an old board game from the 70s. exactly fitting the theme of midnights. Also in the You Need to Calm Down music video. The African American gay guy at the tea table with taylor, wore the rainbow dress that taylor was SUPPOSED to wear but never did because she didn't 'come out.' Relisten to anti-hero. "at tea time, everybody agrees." From my perspective, I think she is referencing this group of people. I think in the anti-hero music video it shows that she tried to find a place, but even in the LGBTQ+ community, she was still too large. She was the elephant in the room. Larger than life, too big to hang out with, Taylor Swift the brand. Not the person. I do think she regrets what happened and this is why she refers to herself as the antihero. Also, The yellow room in the lover house is a closet. I'm sure everyone knows about lavendergate and how some people where very angry about the appropriation of the gay color lavender and sapphic flower. Yellow is the opposite of purple on the color wheel. In the antihero music video she cuts open bright yellow eggs, and it bleeds purple. (loveresque) When she get shot with an arrow, she is wearing yellows and browns and bleeds purple. I think the yellow is her representing closeting. What do you think? That was a long one lol. Love your reacts Michael!
