As per Shawn she's a complete book worm.

Wait till you hear Shawns interview. Talk about wisdom!!!!

Oh I'm so happy you watched this. I love all of her interviews because it really shows how introspective , smart and charming she is . Thank you for admiring her as much as we do. You're the best. Btw great news ... she just did a new zane interview tonight!! 🥳You should check it out .🤍

So happy you’ve reacted to this interview. She’s so honest, and it’s refreshing to hear and see. You’ll walk away from these in depth interviews learning something for life. She’s such an amazing human being, she feels like a friend to all, but in the most genuine way. That’s how I feel at least. Much love ❤️

You should really react to man enough podcast with Shawn he was even more genuine and open about everything!

Honestly, I don't think it's necessary for you to watch or listen to Fifth Harmony. Although it is a good way to understand Camila's need for creative freedom, and her need for the songs to sound like her. Most of Fifth Harmony songs (or the ones I heard) didn't really have a deep meaning... and in some interviews Camila talked about the success of some of these songs that didn't make her feel anything, and that she wound much rather put out music that speaks to her and means something and that not be as successful than to release really successful music that she doesn't believe in. So you could tap into Fifth Harmony as a way to see where Camila comes from, but there isn't much there. In my opinion.

Love watching your reactions and you’re completely right - she is so real and authentic in her interviews. You do come away with learning more about her as a person and how grounded she is. You also come away with learning something yourself. Would recommend checking out the first interview Camila did with Zane as well as the ones Shawn did. You’ll see how they’ve grown as individuals particularly with Shawn.

I agree with the people saying that you don't need to check the Fifth Harmony stuff, they had good songs, but zero creative freedom and even tho I'm just Camila's fan it's undeniable that the other 4 girls also suffered a lot in there with they manegement, there's even a leaked audio of one of them saying that they were "working like slaves and seeing nothing" sooo... No wonder why Camila felt the need to leave and the group ended a year and a half later. At the time of this interview she already knew Shawn for 4 years, they meet in 2014 and always had this thing for each other, but no one would make the first move, they story has a lot of back and forth until they started dating in July 2019, a little over a year after this interview. I'm so glad you watched it, such a nice surprise on the release day of Don't Go Yet, I loved your reaction to the song btw. Can't wait for your videos watching the Romance and the collabs music videos. And for Shawn's Zane Lowe interview as well, of course.

i really loved this! also if you ever want to, you could check out taylor swift’s interview on evermore with zane

Nicki

I second this!! :) Taylor's is so insightful!

Dhivyaa Thayalan

So true, there was an interview Camila did with genius that talks about the struggles and the willingness to forego chart success for truth and control. I would so recommend you to listen to it because it really made me realise how much of a real artist she is. She also a mini documentary which is also interesting because you can tell how close she is with her family and the struggles they went through, which is something you alluded to in the 73Q vogue video. https://youtu.be/pTferrQ06AE

Marcella Raponi

Absolutely, unequivocally, yes!!! That podcast is phenomenal! I would even go a step farther and have a reaction to all of the episodes, that's just how much I love them. The best podcast out there in my opinion.

As a person of colour, I can understand what they were trying to do and took it as paying homage to 80’s trends. The whole video is playing tribute to the 80’s with the hair, clothes, beetlejuice and bad tans. I think haters are always going to find reasons to bring people down. Thought we would have learned from Taylor’s reputation era - we can’t influence how other people perceive us, we can only speak our truths and move forward, which is what I think her statement did. She clarified her intentions and spoke her truth.

Yay, I’m excited you’re gonna start listening to The 1975. I’d recommend starting from the beginning of their discography instead of going backwards. Also, it would be fun to see you react to old x factor stuff of Camila/fifth harmony especially their first performance “Impossible” everyone knew right away Camila was gonna be a star!

Myrelène Knaepkens

Me too being a person of color I second what Dhivyaa stated completely.

I'm flummoxed by the whole controversy. It was a 80's vibe performance following on from the video. They took a middle aged white man and put a bad spray tan on him. This was a look back then, I remember it well! Think George Hamilton etc! Why hire a different actor? He wasn't meant to look like a different race, he was meant to look like a white guy with a bad spray tan! It seems to me that people are looking to be offended. Getting someone to change their appearance to play someone of a different race is totally Not on, but this absolutely wasn't what this was about. Poor camila. I don't think anyone would have zoned in on this if not for a certain fantom disgruntled fans actively looking for things to flame her over.

Camila has such a natural, soothing, real presence and is just so refreshing and one of the main reasons apart from her talent off course that made me relate so much to her music. Fn Fac: Like friends do, a song she wrote about her relationship with Shawn at the beginning when they were "Just Freinds"hahaha
