So excited for the rest of the parts! They always like to start concerts with heavy choreo and Salute has been the opener for multiple tours cause of that (not always though). Each tour usually gets a different remix of Salute so it's different every time. Small note it was Jesy who was hyping the crowd right before power (you thought it was Perrie).

Ahhh im so happy u finally started this! First of all Happy Xmas Eve! Been waiting for your LM5 tour reaction. They are amazing hope ur ready for this. The coreo, the visuals the VOCALS its all on point. To start this is the O2 arena in London. As for the song u mention where they have a female rapper is Nicki in Woman like me (i dont believe they have a song w Dojo) but either way small mistake who cares. I am just so happy you put this up. Be prepared to have ur MIND BLOWN. Also i love the tour videos because u really get to see the amount of vocal control Jade has, She is so talented and in my opinion the most versatile voice of the group. I love all of them and have always found Jessy's voice to be one of the most unique but JADE man she really shines when it comes to the full concert. Cant wait for the next part! Thank you

The inverted triangle is the representation of woman empowerment. It is based on the " V " as the symbol for vagina and motherhood, the absolute Power of Life itself and has been used throughout the past in all cultures in writings dating back centuries.

I never clicked so fast! Lol! Great reaction. You stopped it at the WLM dance break so don't be surprised it's not quite over when you continue. They sold out the O2 Arena in London. I cannot wait to watch the rest with you! Merry Christmas!

Yey!!! LM5 tour, woop, woop! 😊 Salute is such a great opener for the show, there are so many versions of it that hits differently every time you see it and it's really cool! Glad to know you got the idea, hehe... Power is my all time favourite 😍 it's from their 4th album Glory Days, you'll get there step by step, no rush. It's nice seeing you discovering songs you never heard before, because the live performances eat up the studio ones! 🤣 Can't wait for you to see the rest of the show and myself enjoying it with you, because you're gonna get blown away for what's coming, haha! These girls know how to put a show! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 and it makes it clear how hard working they are. Great reaction as always, looking forward to the rest and many more reactions! 😝 It's always a pleasure watching you, much love! ♥️ P.S. It's Nicki Minaj who features in Woman Like Me no Doja Cat, but we let you off 🤣

I literally finished watching the movie right before I saw that you posted this. I can’t wait to see your reactions to the rest. It’s so good. I really wish they had a full hd version of every tour like this, especially since many of their international fans don’t get the chance to see them live.

YC

Ohh i didnt know this, i always assumed it had something to do w the V being the roman numeral for 5 since it was their 5th album. Thank you for explaining it!

So I just watched the full movie this morning as a result of this reaction. I loved it! I’ll try and only comment on the songs in this video. I don’t think they were singing The National Manthem. I could be wrong, but it sounded like the studio version and I didn’t see them on stage when this played. Later in the movie, there are songs (like Strip) where they just play the studio version whilst they change outfits and stuff and I think this was kinda like that. I LOVED Salute live. As I mentioned on your album reaction, I’m not a massive fan of the studio version, but the beat switch and choreography in the live version sells it for me. For me, Power is the complete opposite. I LOVE the studio version but I’ve never seen a particularly great live version. Jesy and Leigh really struggle with their breath control on this song and Leigh never really attempts the belt on her solo/second verse. She always leaves it for Jade, which is a shame as she’s shown in the ad-libbed belts towards the end of the song that she can belt with the best of them! You’ll see what I mean when you get around to listening to ‘Glory Days’. Also, I really like Stormzy on this track BUT....I do prefer the original version where the girls did a little bridge instead. ‘Woman Like Me’ was great. They always kill that song and Jade snapped a bit here, as you pointed out. I would have liked to have seen Nikki Minaj - I can only remember one performance where she joined them live which is a shame. She didn’t even show up for the music video (albeit the green screen effect they did for her was pretty cool). I’m really excited to see you react to the rest of the tour! I thought it was incredible! I’ve never got to go to a Little Mix concert and now I’ll never get the chance to go to one with them as a 4, so to see this in HD really made my Christmas! It gives the fans almost the full experience and I think that was a pretty smart move from the girls to do this. More artists should, imo

2023-05-04 15:59:07 It was Jesy hyping the crowd. Jesy is THE hype in LM lol. If there's someone hyping the crowd 9 times out of 10 it's Jesy lol. The energy she has is insane, not only is she singing & dancing she's constantly interacting and throwing out energy to the audience. Born performer that one 🤩. I hope we see her on a stage again one day

I still can't watch the full movie cause is not available in my country, so this is a really nice way of watching it lol but I think you stopped to early, I might be wrong, but you stopped just before the dance break of Woman Like Me, the song wasn't over. Well, maybe you already noticed it. I'm hyped for the next part! Also, I'm so glad you're showing Jade so much love, her voice control and vesatility is INSANE, she just shockes me everytime. She can go from that angelic falsetto voice to the belting rocker voice in a matter of seconds, and the transitions are always flawless. Live performance is where she shines, she's a true performer, and in my opinion, her voice often doesn't traslate properly on record, specially on the older albums. I think producers never really capture her voice on the tracks. Confetti was the first time where I think her voice really power through.

The scream I gave at the end, because you didn't see the "Woman Like Me" break dance, I hope you watched it later, because it's INSANE!

I agree with you about Power, even tho it's my all time favourite it's a tough song! Jade said once, it was the hardest song to record. But, I think there are so many versions of Power live like Salute that hits different every time. The only time the girls perform with Nicki was at the EMA's in 2018 if I'm not mistaken. By the way, I love reading always your comments as they seem very constructive and it's quite nice reading stuff like that 😊

Ivan Lee

The triangle represents LM in activist mode as part of their LM5 theme which is declarative activism. It is a relatively new symbol. BTW I think it is perfectly fine if you are not a fan of Salute, just know that this is considered an anthem for female empowerment for LM so respect that Mixers love it and will disagree with you. It's more the message than the melody here. LM was performing in the O2 arena in London which has capacity 20K+, and they sold out all their tickets 180K total.

Ivan Lee

Since you mentioned your surprise at Jade's "rock" voice you should check out her cover of Tina Turner's "Proud Mary" at the Red Door, a night club in South Shield she owned (not sure if still open post COVID). Jade was joining a local band onstage for this cover and she was killing all the rock belt portions of the song I was totally awestruck by it.

Ivan Lee

Stormzy is a really big deal in the UK. He won a Brit award for British male solo artist in 2018 LM were the presenters for the award and they shared a nice moment on stage (they did Power earlier in 2017).

Awesome reaction! This is the first I have seen and it's incredible. Does anyone know where I can get the LM5 Tour Film? I can't find where to buy it officially... just can't seem to get a copy anywhere.

Jennifer Marriott

Watch the Salut video and you’ll change your mind. 🙂

O2 has 20000 seats and every tour they play it like at least 4 times. In Manchester the arena has 22000 and they play a few times there as well. The Get Weird Tour they performed in Wembley which has a capacity between 80000-84000 and that's the show they filmed amd released as tour "movie" it was on one Glory Days CD the one the Deluxe one they released in 2016. In 2017 they released a Glory Days remake with 3 added songs and a Documentary about their tour year (till the end of summer) in 2017, featuring touring with Arianna in the US, their own European tour, their summer tour in the UK. In 2017 they had over 100 tour dates, which was causing them to be really really sick in November 2017. It was so sad to see, but they still nailed it

2022-12-31 21:39:35 You recorded this exactly a year ago -- I can't believe we're still in COVID, but OMG I am so glad I came across these reactions cause they are giving me life! I saw the LM5 tour in Leeds in late Nov 2019 (I'm from NYC, but I went and saw a bunch of shows in the UK by myself) and by random chance of last minute ticket-buying, I got a 3rd row seat, stage left. My mind was absolutely blown; it was like just, how can those voices be real? (And they definitely were, because they blew a lyric and cracked up at one point). This opening sequence was so incredibly intense and you get some glimpses of the audience in the film, but it was so powerful to be screaming with all of these other people, the sheer energy of the room! One thing that was crazy to me was there were so so many little girls, like 8-10 or something, who I assume weren't getting the sexual references of Power, but responding to the girl power and the dance and the voices. Anyway, I am loving getting this chance to relive something incredibly special and a moment of really deep joy (even before covid, Jessie leaving, and hiatus, now even more of a moment). thanks for all your work and healthy & happy holidays!
