Bless you, sir. ❤️ I needed a break. Having now watched these two episodes, I'm thinking of how one of my favorites, Veronica Mars, did not survive the transition into college. There were two seasons in high school and one in college (plus a movie and a Hulu reboot.) Maybe it's better to skip all the college drama and have the actors actually act their age.

So they did the time jump when they continued to make the actors play closer to their actual ages so that they weren’t in the early twenties still playing late teens. So that’s another reason for why they jumped almost 5 years

This is exactly what I needed after this week, so thank you for that. I actually really love the time jump because the post graduation years is an awkward phase in teen dramas. They always contrive some reason to get all the main characters to go to the same college and a lot of the storylines are about experimenting with drugs and sex, having pregnancies, starting careers, all of which OTH has already done and they didn’t want to just do that all again. Honestly this show handles the post high school transition better than any of the others I’ve seen. It’s basically a spinoff of itself without the hassle of a name change.

Ahh the usual Hollywood "it's the end of the world being injured or in the wheelchair" 🙄 I don't think I cared too much back when I first watched, but since then, it seems like that's all Hollywood comes out with or the overcoming story. Can't be happy disabled. Blah blah blah. Sorry sorry. I mean ... he can play wheelchair basketball. Just saying. 🤷‍♀️ And I do know it's hard for newly injured people, but it's...... yeah, I'm going to stop there before I get too much into this. 😂 Okay for the rest of the episodes, I loved your reaction as usual. Loved you being confused at the time jump. We all were, but everything makes sense as we move forward. And I can't wait to see all your questions being answered and man, you're in for a rideeeee. Can't wait for the next upload!

I didnt take it as Lucas and the editor having the date planed already or anything at the time of the book signing. Just the signing went well and they decided to get dinner after and one of them at some poin before or during turned it into a date I do think Lucas was still hoping to get back with Peyton at that point. But yeah lots of gaps still to fill in for the show.
