Pardon the Recent Dust (Patreon)

Yes, I did recently enter a creative slum. ^^;

I'm not sure what it was exactly, and I hate when it happens. >< But I think what I got from it was I was getting down at my commission pile.  Things like my own projects and real life stuff seem to stop me from ever getting completed and especially if I want to move this Patreon gallery forward with the reward system and things like Donator's Choice and more features.

So as you probably guessed from the previous artwork, this is the plan of action.

1. Finish All Art Commissions- This would be the faster one to do and heck, even some were drawn already in sketch form, so inking and then a basic colour job should survise. I know I should shade and try get the bodies more anatomy correct, but doing that to everything would certainly take forever. At least with these out the way, I can limited my art commissions as well as have room for Patreon Donator Rewards.

2. Finish all Fic Commissions- This is probably the toughest thing to achieve as not only is the pile pretty big, they all take a good chunk of my creative time to complete but at the very least if the Art Commissions are done, it should make the Fics a little more easier. I've already dedicated Wednesdays as a "Fic Only" day (As in I work only on Fics on Wednesdays). Not to say I won't be working on Fics on other days but at the very least if I dedicate 1 days of the week to nothing but Fics, its progress no matter how small to reaching this goal and so far its working to a good effect.

3. Temporary Close Commissions- Since the Patreon Donations are steady at this time, I shall close ALL commissions, bar Patreon Rewards which you can still claim on your Reward Pledge. Previously, I had sort of closed the Fic commissions, but allowed the odd one in if the idea sounded good enough. Clearly, that was not the brightest of ideas and the art ones are really stacking up also, so the best choice would be to close it completely till I get said pile completed (So reopen Art Commissions once the Art pile is done and so on.). To avoid this ever happening again, I will do a Commission Slot feature so I can limit myself to how many I take on at a time and as mention, have more room for my projects and Patreon Rewards.

4. My Own Projects- They're going to be treated as a bit of a side project for a little while, so like when I do a good amount of work on a Commission piece, I'll reward myself with a small bit of work on one of my own projects. Far as Donator's Choice goes, I wanted it to be a Weekly feature, but for now I'll try and get one organized as often as I can (With of course Ranko and Akane coming real soon) then aim to revert back to the weekly installments once the Art Commissions are done.

5. A Comic Collab- Yes, a 4 page comic collab I workerd with an artist on Deviantart. Basically it was a request I made the artist drew and she allowed me to both colour and share it here on Patreon. This will be treated as a side project while the Art Commissions are completed, but I'll show you a Preview of the first page really soon. ;)

6. Overhawl of the Patreon and Deviantart Home Pages- They could do with a fresh coat of paint don't they? XD The plan is to create all new and better looking banners, icons and much cleaner pages with overhawled text. For Patreon, there'll also be a few changes to the Reward pledges. Not by much, but for those that are long time Donators, you can reclaim your previous month rewards anytime you desire (So if say you Donated for 10 months and your reward was a free pic, you have 10 pics you can claim anytime though I would ask you be patient and reasonable with the amount at one time as well, we want to shrink piles, not turn them into impossible towers. XD). You've been supporting me for so long so its only fair you should be entitled to those rewards, its the least I can do. ^^

Also a major overhawl of the commission prices so demand meets the price range better, espeicially since I made the switch from sketch book to tablet.

7. Daily/Almost Daily Content- This might sound mad, but in January this was something I wanted to achieve, having new content on a daily/almost basis, whether that new art, new fics, stamps, memes, journals, updates, previews, polls. or such within the Patreon gallery and the DA Gallerey, in other words to give people a reason to check one or both galleries every single day. It worked to some extent but things got in the way, real life things. As I'm getting back up and running, I'm going to try for this again. Might not be straight away and also Almost Daily might mean the odd off day, and RL stuff might rear its ugly head out of my control, but again its something I really want and will be trying again to do. If things backfire, I can figure out what I need to fix in order to make it work.

Phew, that was certain a long post. XD Hope this all sounds okay and sorry once again for the recent silence. ^^; The upcoming Art and Fics, commission or not, will certainly be worth the wait and lead to a better more productive future for sure. ;)
