Father Update and the Week Ahead (Patreon)

Again, my apologies for the very silent time this past week. While my father is doing well with his recovery, that has not meant the amount of stuff with me helping out has slowed down.

regarding my father, he now has a place at a care home to continue his rehabilitation, which he has made great progress with. The only catch is the sessions and visitors can't happen till 2 weeks because of covid (i.e a new patient coming in the home, so to make sure he's not a risk to other patients, he has to stay in his room for the recommended 14 days). Still, it would of happened at any care home they put him in but at least it means he can continue his rehabilitation further on.

That said, I've been helping out my mother just about every day and that has cut into my freetime a lot. I thank you for your continued patience and support during this difficult time. <3 

As for updates, I'm going to try harder and should have something this week. The updates might not be as theme structured as they once were (New Character Sunday, etc.) but it should be at least something to enjoy till things start to get back to normal. 

And of course, I want things to return to normal as some point as I want to get all your requests and commissions out the way and quite importantly, this experience has opened my eyes a bit more, that my folks are not going to be around forever. That said, one of my aims for this and next year is to sort my finances enough so I can make a bit of a money cushion to land on, in-case something even worse should happen and I'm more capable to support myself. Future can be a scary destination as I witnessed first hand, so I gotta ready myself for whatever happens, and thats a mindset I gotta stick with from here on out which includes keeping the art and fics acoming as soon as I can.
