Where's the Latest Updates Lapras? (Patreon)

Firstly, a big apology for taking this long to respond. Had wanted to do it last night, but Patreon did a maintenance update so was unable to.

Basically, I had to cancel the Friday and Saturday updates. The reason for this is actually something you might of heard happening to other Patreon galleries. Recently, Patreon has taken a big push towards a rule of "All public posts MUST be safe for everyone", in other words no public posts (The ones anyone can see whether they are donating or not) must not feature nudity or suggestive sexual content, otherwise your account will be suspended. I had been aware of this for a couple of weeks, but then on Friday, it happened to a friend of mine, you might known him as the guy who is behind the Ranma's Declaration of Motherhood fan project. While he did censor public previews, it took just one censored image to be issued a suspension. Sadly when you get suspended on Patreon, the common trend I've seen is people not getting their accounts restored for 2-3 weeks despite doing what Patreon staff requested and change offending posts from Public to Patron Only (i.e for Donators only). Even worse, my friend now won't be getting any funds in July because of the suspension.

So what this meant was me going through over 600 public posts of mine to change the nude-y and suggestive ones to Patron Only, and given what the site is like with going through old posts at times, it took me from Friday to very late Sunday morning to really get all the offending posts changed, which does not effect you the donators you can still see the posts, just those without a donation can't. Needless to say, this took up a lot of my time and meant no time for creating new content or updates. It also meant two really late nights so I'm a little sleep deprived right now, which has also effected tonight's update. Once again, I'm really sorry this happened but it was either cancel a few updates or risk 2-3 weeks of no updates if I got suspended. There was no way I could sleep with that on my mind, especially being so close to the payout day like my friend was.

So what about New Character Sunday? I still plan on getting that done, which will be uploaded either when its ready or be saved for a double this upcoming Sunday. I have a couple of ideas to keep it simple.

Going forward, all adult content will be Donator Only. I did wish I could share some free adult content on here, but the powers that be won't allow it. I will try for more clothed alts of future finished uploads, but for ones like the recent Showering with Dawn that won't be possible. I will still be able to post adult posts to places like Pixav but to keep things fair to you guys those will be watermarked. You the donators will get the full unwatermarked artworks along with all alt. versions. This has of course meant that a good chunk of fanfics are now Donator Only, which I have no idea what I'll be doing about that. Do I post them somewhere so people have a place to read them for free or keep them donator only with censored previews on deviantart? Part of me feels the only way all this content will stay in-tact is behind the $2 paywall where no one would report them or even could since they're not public anymore. For those curious, Fanfiction.net is not an option, that place pretty much was nothing but negative feedback for me.   

So yeah, while we're out of that crisis, now we move onto the last problem, my sleepiness. I will be working on getting myself back to normal so for this week at least, please excuse if the updates are a little...basic. I will try for something more detailed, especially the really big commission that promises to be pretty awesome, but it all depends on how fast I get back to normal. Rewards will also be worked on at the same time as well, I made some good progress before all this happened, so you should be seeing some finally finished and uploaded. On the subject of rewards, be sure to claim your rewards for this month for donators $7 or up. I will get to them as soon as I can.

Once again, my upmost apologies. Its been one heck of a mad weekend but thankfully I will lick the battle scars and proceed onwards to some great updates to come this month. Very excited to share them all with you and I believe you will enjoy them too. :)
