Things are moving forward with 0.8.1 – there's now a powerful Domestic Servant engine in place that enables the MC to hire "free" men and women (and children) that can help his household as either scavengers, accountants, guards, janitors, slave trainers or prostitutes. This system will eventually merge with the mercenary framework once the combat upgrade goes live, making the player able to customize his crew in many different ways through specialized training, changing armor and handing out better weapons – as well as being able to freely assign duties. Corrupting and lowering mercenary Enya's Willpower will eventually unlock the prostitute assignment, for instance.

Crystal Heights also has two new locations – The Bank of Ikaanos and The Medical Facility. You're able to hire a servant (an accountant) at the bank, as well as ask for loans, and the medical facility offers a couple of implants (more are being developed) and a plastic surgery option for the MC and his slaves.

Add the large Prostitution framework to this and the first Alpha release of 0.8.1 is looking really exciting.

As I decided to add the Domestic Servant Engine before launching anything, the new scheduled date for Alpha 0.8.1 (A1) is set at October 5th.

While Alpha 0.8.1 (A1-A4) matures, I'll begin working on the massive Legacy Update – Masters of Raana's last Stretch Goal (more is to come, though!).

The Legacy Update is a gargantuan framework featuring wives, pregnancy and your ability to father interactable children. All the unique dialogues/events with your wife will take several weeks to code and fill in with texts/renders, so it's really hard guessing when you'll be able to marry a slave in MoR. My hope is that the first barebones version launches in late October – but this date might be subject to change.

Additional features (0.8.1 PUBLIC)

  • Rebecca's completed render set.
  • Caitlin's completed render set.
  • At least 15 renders for Amelia.
  • And lots more!
