Open the next door, and remember what you’ve already experienced – a pleasant evening spent at my home, with dinner and conversation. It all began with a glass of water to refresh you after a long journey, and nothing unusual happened.

Or did it?

You can just find yourself there again, sitting in my kitchen, a glass of water in your hand, and my voice is in your mind, even if your ears don’t realize it.

(“Agreement can be a very powerful thing. That acknowledgement that yes, I am correct, and you can just find yourself nodding as this becomes more and more powerful for you, that whatever I tell you is true is true..”)

The water sloshes just a little bit inside the glass as you nod in agreement with whatever it is that Lee is saying, and that small movement back and forth, that tiny wave of water, is the most fascinating thing you’ve ever seen. You continue nodding so you can continue watching the wave.

(“Oh that’s interesting! And perhaps even when you’re not looking into that glass, because you’ll be drinking that water at some point and you won’t be looking at it when you’re drinking it, but I’m sure that even when you’re drinking that water you’ll still be able to feel the motion of it going back and forth in time with your body saying ‘yes’ to me.”)

The water is cold and refreshing as you drink, and now your entire body is swaying with the ‘yes’ that runs through you, the ‘yes’ that is strengthened and enhanced by the water that you’re swallowing.

Idly you wonder if the water has any other effects; doesn’t Lee’s water usually have other effects? (Part of you knows, of course, that the water has already had other effects while you’ve been in this kitchen, but that part is currently telling you all about the power of ‘yes’.)

What do you think the water will do this time?

  1. Stop me in place again.
  2. Make me compliant.
  3. Make me malleable.
  4. Make me more thirsty.
