Wasn’t the first big hit of BTS Boy in Luv? (Regarding the conversation of steroid shots) Also, since Blaire loves the era of HYYH (화양연화)/THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MOMENT IN LIFE, I assume she knows it already, but just in case… This saga will get its new album/chapter regarding its 10th anniversary in the year 2025. Bang Si Hyuk announced it after they renewed their contracts with Big Hit Music. The original producers will work on it as well. So… if I understand it correctly, the “Avengers-like” comeback in 2025 after their military service is done, will be the comeback with this album.

Personally it gives me I need you x Airplanes pt. 2 The instruments gives me some sort of Latin feeling, makes me wanna grove. I'm happy that they chose to remake the song instead of making a direct cover. Like this could have gone so horrible wrong, yet it didn't.

This cover is just amazing the vocals the rap wow wow wow. I think Hybe did amazing to let Enhypen cover this masterpiece. Interesting statement… the “HYBE raising the standard of vocal talent”… And I don’t want to get into the comparison to SM… The reason why I find it interesting is because I question myself, why did they decide to go this way? I mean, I have mentioned it here and there that basically the growth that happened in YG Ent. with BIGBANG and later on acts in the Korean + Asian scale is the same growth which happened to Big Hit with BTS but in the global/world-wide scale. And the thing is that obviously in these cases the companies go through big changes as they grow. So YG Ent. is not the old school hip hop label as it used to be with early BIGBANG years or even before them. But regardless of how much the company grew and changed, their future acts kept the key factor of the early years of the company, which is the hip hop vibe, which is included in the groups thanks to their rappers. I am trying to say that no matter how the group of YG is different now, by their rappers you know it is YG. And something similar I was expecting with Big Hit or later on labels of Hybe Labels, that we would feel the same/similar vibe there, which we would connect to BTS. And I know BTS went through changes, but thanks to their rappers the hip hop element was still there. So I wonder why HYBE decided to focus on vocals rather than rappers/hip hop. Or I should maybe say: “Why did they decide to focus on vocals that much?”

Fun fact, Enhypen is in the same age range right now as what BTS was in when they released i need u. Heeseung is the same age ,22, as Jin was when i need u dropped.

Not sure if you guys wanna do a secondary video but they uploaded a live performance on spotifys YouTube I really hope you can check it out if you have time !!! Also Ni-Ki’s rap was the highlight for me. And of course all of their vocals. People always point out their amazing dance performances but I feel like people sleep on how amazing they are as vocalists. Especially with their own song “Blossom” that they released for their Japanese single. That really showcases their voices and color. I’m just so proud of them they really did such an amazing job on this is cover and I also agree with everything you both said in the video :’)

Sunghoon’s part was my favorite, I admit I’m biased when it comes to him and I love his voice the most but even tho he barely got lines he delivered them in a way that makes you notice him like he really said he’s here and he ATE those 6 seconds up

I think each member is unique alone, and when they come together their voices mesh so perfectly. And you mentioned the acting voice i agree Enhypen voice sounds very honest and authentic which add the emotion to their vocals

that is a BOLD statement to make, my guy. considering heeseung is kinda the only one who's competent live (though jay and sunoo are improving and have their strengths). i love enhypen's music but it's ok to say they're not a vocal group.
