I definitely remember feeling the same way watching season 1 with you guys, just trying to understand why the show was doing anything like ok you are doing these plot points but WHY, where is the payoff and id like season 2 to have more of an end goal in mind

If I could give you a head up for Season 2 : it's a transition season. For what I've seen they're expending the lore and the scale here, but the epic-ness will have to wait for the next one. They needed to prepare the ground for what I think will be a more action heavy Season 3. Still enjoyed it though.

I dropped this season after 2 episodes ngl I was super bored, I don’t really want to continue it. I also agree with season 1, it wasn’t bad but definitely not good either lol 🥱

I actually really liked season 2, I feel like an outlier haha It definitely has a different vibe and a lot of new characters but I was invested.

What i learned watching this whole series, is that it's not exactly a story about monsters as much as it is a story about humans. The monsters are still humans, stripped down to their basic nature. It's not a virus, it's Karl Jung. The monster is the shadow that eventually rips out of you once you reach the point where the ego falls into despair. I think the second season is alright, for someone who binged through all three seasons i barely noticed the seasons changing. What i really liked was the way every question got answered in the end, except the obvious one.
