What's so funny to me about this is, you haven't yet realised why you like his voice. You think you have, and you're almost there, but not quite. Kyungsoo is very good at neutralising his real vocal tone and colour, so much so that you haven't actually heard it. There's a reason exo is known (even before being known as the kpop vocal group) as the K-RnB group, and that reason is D.O.. His unique vocal colour, when he's not singing his beloved acoustic pop genres and instead singing RnB songs, is unmatched. Until you hear 'Tell me what is love' you will not understand his real vocal talent. Kyungsoo has the most soulful voice I have heard in Kpop. If you hear growl, beyond the catchy chorus the real reason that song won hearts was his lines in it. He is the back-bone of Exo's sound. So yes, all three exo main vocals are extremely talented in their own ways, but exo without D.O. is exo without their soul. Now that Kyungsoo has made the huge step of leaving SM and establishing his own company (he will remain in exo and co-ordinate with sm on exo related stuff), he is also releasing his third album this year. It will be interesting to see his choices now it's fully his project. And you can look forward to a Lost live performance, because he's planning his first solo concerts right now. I hope you get a chance to hear Empathy (his first mini-album) too. P.S. Kyungsoo's nickname is Vocal Tone gangster or Final Boss of Vocal Tone

Glad you loved the album! Thank you for the reaction! D.O. is truly unique, in many ways. He deserves all the exposure! Hoping you can check out the highlight Medly MV to this. It blends in with his acting as well. I’m sure you’ll appreciate it. He also has a highlight Medly MV for his first album, which is a must see as well and a must for a listening party. FYI, he’ll be coming out with his third album this first half of the year, so please look out for that!!

i loved D.O since debut, if you have never seen his debut showcase of "What is love" like as a rookie he was already at an amazing level. He has grown and matured so much through the years

I really recommend you listen to his live cover with akmu of rewrite the stars from the greatest showman. I think it’s my favorite cover done by a K-pop artist ever.

YES! I love the D.O. appreciation here! My favorite song on this album is still I Do. The MV is so cute and it plays in my head whenever I hear the song.

That was a lot to unpack. Just wait until you find out he's also a variety genius and about his show '콩콩팥팥' or in English, 'GBRB: Reap What You Sow', which was filmed with his actor friends. The demand for that show in SK is crazy right now and they're trying to figure out how to schedule Season 2. He's a multi-talented guy.
