when i got to nanamis death in the manga i literally had to take a break from reading🧍like 3 weeks at least, and when i got back to it i get hit with nobara😭and after that i just gave up and accepted my fate with this shit, i have a list of things i want to say when i encounter akutami gege in hell🧎lmao nanami was so fucking tired all the time and still decided to fight and protect others, the author even said that nanami wanted to get married but couldn't while being a sorcerer since there was always a possibility that he won't make it back home, SICKENING. nanami was gege's favorite character btw💀 he said nanami was supposed to lose an arm only but then he got "carried away" ?? 😭. on a more serious note, akutami says that he has certain "episodes" while writing where the characters come to life and "write themselves", apparently, this was the case with Nanami, and tbh as much as i love to shade him, nanamis death makes sense and was not forced at all, it hurts but yeah, i barely have any critiques when it comes to jjks writing. scorsese would be flabbergasted now when it comes to nobara... i agree with you pd, the potential she had as a character. i'm convinced that ppl love to write good sapphic characters just to make them suffer😭

now todo... the fact that he was hallucinating with a constellation of yuji giving him a thumbs up, takada chan with a gun, and some ass cheeks😭😭 before hitting the black flash😭😭😭 oh my god, I love the jjk’s team direction for that scene so much I had the highest expectations for todos entrance to the arc, since he’s my second favorite entrance to shibuya, and man, the director and the animators made it worth the wait, really props to them. Voice actors are just insane as well, I’m so grateful that this story has a team that cares for it so much (and yeah FCK U MAPPPA!!), I cried throughout the whole episode, the way they portrayed todo as light to yuji and yuji not looking properly at him because he felt like he didn't deserve that light, their dynamic is one of my favorites, I feel like todo is to itadori what armin is to eren, idk how to explain it, it may be a weird take but what armin represents to eren is a little similar to me with these two in this specific scene, he brings hope and a way out to everything, and shows you that there’s so much more to life that we have yet to experience. the gasp both of u let out after realizing it was todo😭 priceless, these were so much fun

The manga may have scarred me for life but at least i didn’t have to witness anything for the first time with these squelching noises and this sad music and the screams 🙂 and im pretty sure the Malaysia content wasn’t as involved in the manga but either way im offended how beautifully they animated it

Sometimes I wonder, especially bc the manga is still going, is there a point to such devastation with no reprieve like what is the end lesson? I think I’m realizing I’m not one of the people who can take watching a media where nothing good or happy happens but I got roped in by season 1 so I can’t leave now, (I acknowledge that this is from me being overly invested and emotionally soft 😭)it feels like gege akutami really needed to get some dark stuff out by making this I’m glad he has a creative outlet but damn!! this is the man who used to draw cute side stories about the gang goofing off and how he was late for deadlines or juju strolls and now — I will ask again: SIR ARE YOU OKAY

I have a weird relationship with this series. At first I thought it was just the shocking anime to get everyone’s attention by the way how it is over brutal etc. At the end of the first season I started to like it, but still it felt like it has been inspired by many other works like Naruto, Bleach and not that I would mind that, don’t get me wrong I am not saying this is another Black Clover… But I was just like: “Okay, let’s see” After watching all of this I kind of like it, I see there is something deep there. Mainly with the concept of sourcery, which I get just partially, but I take it as with Hunter x Hunter: “The author made sure they can make any kind of ability and skill by making these rules”. But one thing bothers me… What the hell is this show about?? Like I don’t need an exact answer with one goal like: “Naruto wants to become a Hokage”. I do love Shingeki No Kyojin and I enjoyed thinking about it and having theories and being able to appreciate the mystery there. But here it somehows feels just so random, I guess? We have fights there, where suddenly a dead person appears from a portal without being summoned on purpose and then kills himself. Also I know it is my fault that I didn’t get attached to the characters that much, so the fights aren’t that stressful for me. I mean, I like some of them, but not like to a big level (I like Panda and then the one, who can say only Ingredients - the fact that I forget his name shows how less I am into the characters. Also Mechamaru and the old dude (probably the principal with guitar) were cool, but I am not sure if I should call them my favorite ones… But beside this… the Sukuna fight was fucking lit, but to be fair… the whole show I just know Sukuna is there and that’s it. Then he shows how powerful he is, okay, but it felt more like as an “promotion for the show”, because he then just disappeared and that was it. Count this, the thing I mentioned about the dead summoned guy, Geto not being Geto and rather than keeping to that we focus again on Mahito, who I know is written in the way to be this psychotic bitch, but I have already knew that. I am talking too much again… And don’t take me I am trying to hate this show. I would like to have some theories or something to look for, but I don’t know to what I should keep to lead me to something 😅😅

No comment 🤐 my lips are sealed, but for foresight there are well over 100 chapters in the manga since the end of these episodes—there will be many more seasons of JJK to come (if mappa gets it together and pays their workers 🤞)

todo is definitely super strong but he's also just a grade 1 sorcerer like nanami and mei mei so hes not really close to gojo level strength to be honest. id say the 2nd strongest jujutsu sorcerer after gojo is yuta from the jjk 0 movie because he's actually a special grade. todo is such a beast tho lmao bro was hallucinating takada chan mid fight he's so goofy
