This episode was so interesting to me! I feel like it really demonstrated how voices can and also may not suit each other. With Eunji's episode, I didn't mind that she out-classed him b/c their tones worked well together (her more deep, husky tone suited his indie, unpolished tone really well). However, for Mujin and Wendy's duet, it kinda felt like their tones were too different and skills-wise she massively outshone him; her straight, almost musical theatre-esque tone has a purity to it that clashed with Mujin's nasality and breathiness. Of course, this is just my opinion!

I really enjoyed your thoughts at the end and made me appreciate the performance more than i already did. I also agree, i hope SM gives her songs that are challenging even for her. I would love to see her solo album next year with a different genre than they usually give her, especially ones she’s expressed interest in (rnb, pop) and the genres she does well in rv songs. and to think we almost didn’t get her back after that accident…. to lose not only one of my favorite idols but also one of the most beautiful and powerful voices of all time… i have no words to describe what that loss would mean.
