The part that Mikasa has the same last name as Levi is a spoiler. This wasn't revealed until later episodes/seasons. At this point in the story, we only know that Levi is just Levi, with no last name. Just wanted to let you guys know. Also, there is actually 2 OVAs on Levi's backstory. And it is canon to the manga story as well as the anime story. I think you guys can check it out if you have the chance, since it is an important part of the story.

When Reiner said: “Eren, we need to tell you something…” my eyes went immedialtely to your faces to see your reaction. At first, when I was watching it on my own, I had to read again the subs if I read correctly. With the statement of Levi being the Second Kpop Generation idol and comparison to Mikasa… Wait for the end of the third season. That scene is fucking legendary! Mikasa may be like the ace of any generation, but Levi is the fucking G-Dragon 😅😅. At the end of the third season there is a Levi scene, which shows you something like… I don’t know… PD, you are not into G-Dragon’s solo, but let’s say the scene is like: “Every BTS member’s solo album being released as one album by a second generation idol like G-Dragon” 😅😅 I may have overhyped the opening of the second season for you, since you prefer the second opening of the first season. But dude… that Levi scene in the third season… that is like the most legendary anime scene every! When you asked, why Bertholdt ate Ymir and someone else. It was because of getting their ODM gear for himself latter on.

*Me listening to them comparing Levi and Mickasa* *Anticipation instensifies* You guys really need to watch the No Regrets OVA. To understand Levi fully. They're both for sure traumatized but in different ways. Also, at this point even Levi doesn't really know his last name so really we aren't supposed to know either it's a reveal for later seasons. Also Eren's character development is 10/10 best in anime in my opinion.

Reiner's voice actor is the same as Karasuno's Ace, Asahi. The VA is a cutie irl. He almost lost his voice around this season, and they had to delay production a bit because of that.
