Hey just a little correction, its actually Hanbin who sings "기도해 " in the Good Night first chorus and hands it off to Taerae! (Props to hanbin for pulling off so many difficult high notes in this album) For me MVPs are definitely Matthew Jiwoong and Ricky in terms of vocals (EVERYONE SHINED WITH AMAZING TONES) but they truly hit it every single time for me whenever they sing

my fav songs on this album are melting point and crush as well!!! melting point is such a lovely and sweet song, it feels like cotton candy dissolving in water LOL idk how else to describe it. I love their music so much and it's kinda crazy how we've already spent almost half a year with them already... that's 1/5 of their whole contract 🥲

First 3 songs have the most replay value for me personally, but I love them all! <3 Take My Hand with its really weird instrumental definitely left the strongest impression on first listen.

I love Hanbin's voice so much. In melting point his soft almost feminine vocal layer with other members in the chorus part is so angelic. In take my hand the producer said his intro voice change the theme of this song and personally has a NewJeans vibe to it although the rest of the song doesn't lol

I love Youth in The Shade, but it feels more like a collection of songs whereas Melting Point feels like an album. I'm personally not a an of Kidz Bop at all, but I keep it in my ZB1 playlist because I like to listen to melting Point as a whole because it almost feels wrong not to. When it comes to YITS, though, I have no problem picking and choosing which song(s) I want to listen to. Both albums are great and feel related, but they provide completely different listening experiences for me, and I love that.

ik this is a safe space so i'm gonna come out and say i didn't like "crush" UNTIL i listened to it within the context of the album. "crush" is definitely a type of song i don't usually like and i think "melting point" and "take my hand" help build to "crush" in such a masterful way that turned "crush" into a completely new song. "youth in the shade" and "melting point" both feel very seasonal to me and are perfect for what they both represent. "youth" is one hundred percent a youthful, spring, beginning type of album; it's their beginning!!! and "melting point" is a winter, endearing type. it literally reminds me of a shimmering winter night with the light from the house shining on the snow. for me i think my technical favorite is "good night", but on a completely bias level it's "melting point". i think "good night" is the hard best on the album but "melting point" is just my personal fave

Yees melting point is my fave of this whole album, but I love listening the album as a whole, all the songs are beautiful to me so this is my album of the year. YITS is really good too but I often skip songs and this album I just can’t. Also I love the melting point stages and mv, it brings the song to life to me.
