And to think that there were a bunch of songs that they had to drop because they would have gone over time. I think Wendy said they had planned to add So Good, but it had to be cut from the set list for time. They need another Killing Voice just to finish covering all their title tracks.

Recently Red Velvet mentioned they all took vocal lessons before this comeback to further improve their vocals. Mind you, this is their ninth year. That's how you get at the top and stay there.

I think the really interesting thing is how Wendy's voice has changed over the years. Her voice is definitely not as heavy now as it used to be, and I think performing in Rebecca probably changed a few things from her technically. The same thing happened to Solar after her stint doing musical theater. Her belts are a lot lighter and not as weighty as they used to be. Ironically, the opposite happened to Yeonjung.

Welcome to the longest Killing Voice ever! And somehow it's still too short. "Is Wendy real?" No, absolutely not. Yes, she was right in front of me back in May. I still refuse to believe. Front row at a Red Velvet concert is crazy, I tell you. Zimzalabim might be a controversial song but damn it, it goes so fucking hard at a concert! The only other Kpop group that could match that live energy for me this year was iKON. You Better Know is their best song. I nearly cried when they sang it at MIK Festival London back in the summer of 2022. A beautiful ending to a perfect summer night. And they also closed their 2023 tour concerts with this song. I couldn't think of anything more fitting. I swear, no other group has a song like Kingdom Come. There's a lot more I could say but I'll keep it short: Red Velvet's discography is goated and having Wendy in your group is cheating.

Seulgi is the cutest person I’ve ever laid eyes upon 😭 I loved her so much in this!! That aside, this has to be one of my top favorite videos on YouTube. I love this group with a burning passion, they absolute killed it here. it's the longest killing voice yet it still feels too short. their discography is just something else and their vocals get better and better. red velvet is in their 9th year and they keep improving in every single aspect

So PD, Yeri was added late to RV coz SM felt yeri needed additional training. Which was why she debuted so late even though Yeri was already part of the group prior to them debuting but SM held her out of the debut for 6 months for additional training
