I saw someone say that the whole album is supposed to mirror a concert/festival—down to the instrumental play-out music when the lights come on and everyone leaves!! I was also surprised to see the instrumental when I first saw the track list but that made it make so much more sense to me

For me SOS and Diamond Days are tied for favorites but how can you really pick?! This album blew me away! I thought I loved Face the Sun but this was Seventeen at their finest ☺️

Woozi wrote “Yawn” specifically thinking of Seungkwan and he sent this song to Seungkwan when he went on hiatus few months ago. Kind of surprised PD didn’t cry while listening to it and reading its lyrics at the same time.. I can’t help but tear up every single time when I hear this song. This is definitely my favorite ballad song by them since it feels like a very gentle and warm hug to those who tends to cry alone in the middle of the night secretly or those who struggles in silence..then here comes Yawn, appearing just in time to ease the pain and loneliness.

2023-11-24 22:57:47 I just wanted to share this here because it's really touching, but Seungkwan talked about how when he was on his hiatus not long ago this year, Woozi sent him 'Yawn' first, the day after he made it and Seungkwan cried upon hearing the first verse 🥺 It reminded me about how Woozi wrote 'Circles' for the members but specifically for Wonwoo when he was going through loss last year... Songs like this are truly his way of showing his members how much he cares about and loves them. I had to share that about 'Yawn' because it was so touching and makes the song more emotional than it already is for me.

my absolute favorite is monster .TOO GOOD but I also am obsessed with headliner which is such a good song to end the album ! I have to agree that god of music is their best title track like it immediately made me so happy within the first listen

The SOS lyrics really touched me given the actual context in the middle east, but god of music is still my favourite track of the album because of its positive message. Headliner is a very special song too ❤️ For the units i vibe with Monster more but all songs are amazing

Yawn made me cry a lot the first time I heard it. The more I read the lyrics, the more my heart hurts. The vocal team's singing touched my heart.

Me too! I already knew some seventeen songs because of all the years I've been listening to kpop, but it was thanks to PD that I really started to get into them and now they are my favorite group 💙

If they don't win Artist Of The Year at Mama I'll fly over there and flip tables! This is prob one of my fav listening parties with you. I definitely needed this to help let the album sink in. This came out the day after I saw and met The Rose on their tour and I had post concert depression and tunnel vision even until now because they were so incredible! But anything that came out that week was just not sticking with me. I think I can finally appreciate this album now though! My fav song is Headliner and then Monster and SOS. I do love Diamond Days too though. They better win!!

I mentioned this in a comment above-I 100% didn’t talk more about Yawn because I could feel an emotional breakdown incoming due to the lyrics. I didn’t quite get why and didn’t wanna spend 20min sobbing trying to figure it out; but your comment helped clear it up thank you!

I've only been waiting for the day when PD hears Diamond Days!! If you compare the lyrics to Shining Diamond, it's even better. I was so overwhelmed when I found out that some of the members' parts were directly connected...
