At the time everyone signed they still hadn’t won everything regarding BBC + getting the actual ability to use their names so I think that’s what motivated it PLUS, some members had different court cases, like filed at diff times or whatever or sections, I think Gowon, Hyeju, at least from what I remember, were the lasts to win so they couldn’t even join anywhere for a while, with the legal situation varying amongst member it makes sense why there was splitting off ;Yeah there were so many nods to Loona in the lyrics of the album DONT GET MY HOPES UP, everything is a hypothetical tho so I take everything with a grain of salt—BUT U BRING UP A GOOD POINT OF THIS BEING LIKE ENLISTMENT WAITING SO I WILL USE 2PM AS MY REFERENCE BC THEY CAME BACK PROMOTED AND HAD A 2 FAN CONCERTS but years after last release + military, so until everyone else debuts solo and gets into their groove I think a reunite of Loona officially won’t happen for a minute (BUT BOY WOULD I BE GLAD TO BE PROVEN WRONG)

I feel like I’d typically say Real World is the type of song I gravitate towards the most but THE LAYERED SOUND OF NEWTOPIA GRABBED ME!! And at the concert it seemed to be one of the most popular, it sounded so good live + they interact with the audience a lot bc it doesn’t have choreo like the rest

Day by Day is a close second but I can’t listen to it all the time without being sad, the song is bittersweet with baked in nostalgia and the lyrics make my heart ache like especially leading up to and through the bridge AND THEN YOU GET HYEJUS HIGH NOTE AND I CRY EVERY TIME WITHOUT FAIL

Btw Chuu performed a bit of the chorus of Strawberry Soda at her debut showcase!! it was so cute (it was also extra cute since almost all the members were there watching in the audience)

Real World and Colouring have REALLY COOL choreography by the way. They haven’t uploaded an official performance video or anything, but there’s lots of fan filmed stuff on YouTube from them performing it at their u.s tour. I highly suggest looking at the performances for those if you have time!!

Yeojin was never in a subunit 🤧 they made up lore that she was “lost in the forest + is the slash in Loona 1/3” but they never put her in a subunit proper THIS IS HER SUBUNIT NOW !!! IT GIRL YEOJIN COME THROUGH, she’s one of those “born to be an idol” like she is having the time of her life and is the same chatterbox that teases everyone else that she was since debut I LOVE THE DYNAMIC OF THE GROUP THEY ALL MESS WITH EACH OTHER~~~Loossemble has gathered the loudest and the quietest members of Loona and I think that’s great

My personal favorite song on the album is Real World. I just love it. But I’ve definitely listened to Sensitive the most overall. It’s just really catchy. And yeah, out of the now 4 loona member EP’s to be released this year, loossemble is my favorite to listen to (I think I rank the ep’s for my taste as: loossemble, heejins, chuu’s, and odd eye circles)

I love this album. The member had more input in the production with writing lyrics and choosing the songs, that's probably why this album also sounds more like an Loona album besides having former Loona A&R in their company. My favorite songs is Day by day, Strawberry Soda and Newtopia. Strawberry Soda and Newtopia are such fun and feel good songs and Day by day is just so beautiful and emotional. But the best thing I like is that they could show off their vocals more.

It's okay. We all operate on hopium these days. Just embrace it. The future of Loona looks bright! Some thoughts about the songs: Intro: Searching for their friends The name does give you a lot of hope, right? Good intro, leads nicely into Sensitive. Sensitive Funky, groovy, fun! And as the „showpiece“ of Loossemble, I absolutely love how this puts such a perfect spotlight on the members who often got the short end of the stick in OT12 Loona. Real world This is really starting to sound like an actual Loona song. Like it could have been a song on [++]. It's giving Stylish. Colouring I love this dreamy sound. Takes you on a journey into space. So serene. Newtopia If you know me, you know I fucking LIVE for this kind of retro-ish sound! I don't even have a car anymore but this makes me want to go on a nighttime drive. Strawberry soda YVES!!! That is all. Day by day Magical. A very comforting song that gives you hope for the future. Maybe a future in which all 12 members of Loona reunite? 👀 This is my personal ranking of the songs: 1. Newtopia 2. Colouring 3. Day by day 4. Strawberry soda 5. Sensitive 6. Real world But I love and adore every single one! Out of the four post-Loona albums we've gotten so far (OEC, Loossemble, Chuu, Heejin), this is my favourite. I still have to figure out where exactly everything falls in my ranking of all the Loona songs ever but most, if not all of this will be in the upper half for sure. Yeojin was the one member of Loona who was never officially in a subunit. Remember, she was only 14 when she had her solo debut and BBC back then was at least decent enough to let her focus on school until the OT12 debut. She's kinda seen as an honorary member of 1/3 by some fans but the only predebut songs she was involved in were Kiss Later and My Melody, both from her solo single. Ok, now you gotta get to Chuu's and Heejin's solos! Chuu has her EP Howl and three MVs for Underwater, Howl and Hitchhiker. But her b-side Aliens might be a contender for my favourite Loona song ever! And Heejin came back with the EP "K" and her title track Algorithm. And if you're up for it, Haseul also released a single called Plastic Candy but there's no MV for that one.

Regarding Strawberry Soda... Do Min Gyu was included in the production of this song. Who is Do Min Gyu? Contestant of LOUD, who was praised by JYP for his producing skills. You may remember him from the trio performance in the 3rd round, where he was in team with Oh Sung Jun and Lee Gye Hun. They performed the traditional Korean concept song called Flowering: https://youtu.be/AsO9MTGV91Y Good question about why all Loona members didn't join the same label. I guess it may all go down to their personal preferences and maybe the fact that Maud Haus might have told them they would be focusing on TripleS (at least for now)

So excited for loossemble bonus drops!! The performance is soooo good. I’m so glad I saw it live when they came to the US. Also idk if you heard this but Olivia Hye redebuted with her actual name, Hyeju, so that’s the one she wants fans to use for her moving forward :)

my favorite thing about this group is how so much of it is built off of hyunjin's pure love for loona. she stayed in hell for the other girls in bbc until vivi could get out. she rallied orbits during the worst of the lawsuits and never stopped talking about chuu. she stepped up as the main vocalist and a lyricist for this subunit. and ultimately? she joined loona leader line by becoming loossemble's crew commander. hyunjin is funny, silly, spunky, and a class clown. she "debuted" as a soloist two days after she turned 16. in the time since, she's grown into a thoroughly responsible and mature woman who kept a level head throughout literal financial abuse and her group being torn apart, and helped keep things together with her own hands. she's been my bias for years now, but despite the terrible situation she's become one of the idols i respect the most. her love and stubbornness to protect her friends is something genuinely admirable. fantastic album. can't wait to see what these girls do moving forward, especially with them being given so many creative input opprotunities.

not this comment making me tear up lol. the entire bbc ordeal and loossemble debut put her firmly on my ult bias list! let’s also mention that she only wanted to join a company that was willing to sign all 12 members, and that’s why they’re at ctd 😭 she’s truly the biggest ot12 of us all.

I’m so glad I was one of those adamant patreon subscribers repeatedly telling you to check out this album bc I knew you’d love it this is by far my favorite loona subunit and release since they left BBC, it just feels like a celebration of everything that makes them loona. plus we get to hear so much more of these 5 and their voices work so unbelievably well together???? I also love how involved they are with the songwriting and concept and branding, it really feels like they’re reclaiming their careers. seriously can’t wait to see what they do next

This album is proof that BBC had no idea what they were doing. They threw out JJ's plan and drank the SM kool-aid, never once changing the vocal lineup. It is downright criminal that these ladies were relagated to be background singers for their own group! We now get to hear what we were being deprived of.Fuck BBC! B#RN!
