I'm not sure if I'll go back and watch QP as a whole but I'm down to jump back and check out highlights and such. The general feedback for QP was mixed so I wasn't sure about it.

But this started with looking at a thumbnail and going "man what is this cool video of AESPA" and then turns out that is YEOREUM and let me tell when that blew my mind.

Lmk just a general good jumping off point and we'll go from there!

It’s okay until the live show episode (ep.7-10) when it’s too dragging and probably time-consuming. I agree with comments that you should check out performances of the show but if you want to watch the whole thing, maybe watching just first 6 episodes, watching performances and then skipping to the final.

I’m curious as if you also want to do this with peak time? Since there were so many incredible performances on that show as well. Maybe some of us can send you the links of the best ones?

I personally enjoyed the show purely for the interactions. The performances were great and I think the context helps, at least for the PICK and DROP groups for the first challenge that actually had mvs pretty much. But yes pls check it out!!

Eh honestly I'd just skip the entirety of Queendom Puzzle, in my opinion it's not reallyyy worth the time. There were a few decent performances that MIGHT be nice to watch, but other than that i don't know. I would just check out the debut first and see if you like it and then maybe go back and watch like 2-3 performances from the show. You're definitely not missing out on much :D

Unrelated to QP but on the topic of survival shows.. Have you heard of / considered watching A2K? It's a JYP x Republic Records survival show with the aim to create a new global girlgroup through a K-Pop system basically. I unexpectedly loved the show and it was so easy to watch too with all of the episodes only being about 30-40 minutes long. I really recommend it. The group that was created through the show (VCHA) has already released a pre-debut single as well so I hope you can at least give that a listen if you don't want to watch the show. :)

Yessss I’d love if you reacted to the queendom puzzle performances! To be honest I really wanted you to react to the whole show. It was funnnn to see all the diff idols interacting with each other. And they made some insane units on the show. Plus all the original music was fireeee

Henry

I would say if anything just to do the performances. The rest of the show had its moments but it’s MNET editing, so there’s that.

the show was great!! predictable lineup, but still an awesome show

I would suggest the performances as there were some really solid performances especially early on in the show, as for the show as a whole it was alright not the best not the worst.

Honestly, bcuz of QP, I started watching RoPun content. I highly suggest you watch the show. It's like the QD2 workshop (ep 5-6), except it's the whole show! Yes, it's Mnet, but we're all used to it by now (or SHOULD be 😂), so it's still fun to watch 😁

You need to watch queendom puzzle to understand their concept!

Tania

I’d honestly recommend watching the show to see the journey of the members. Now it wasn’t as exciting as some of the kingdom/queendom seasons but the concept is so unique. And tbh a lot of the members on the show were incredible. I’d say it’s worth it but if not, u could absolutely just watch all the performances or special highlights

Oligom

the show isnt great by itself, but, has a lot of cool interactions between all the idols, and we saw them overcoming challenges and growing, and that is kinda cool. i would like it if you watched the show, but would understand if you just check all the performances. But if its gonna be only performances, watch them ALL, including their first solo stages for each idol!!

I honestly loved the show a lot it was really nice seeing other members from different groups interact and improve from one another I definitely would recommend giving it a watch

I enjoyed QP for the most part. It really helped me to appreciate the talent the idols had (even the ones that I thought I knew from other survival shows) and introduced me to new groups. I also enjoyed their interactions. Some of the editing from mnet was meh (like exaggerating the mistakes on stage) but I still enjoyed the stages (the full versions of the perfs on youtube that is).

Di

Also really liked some of their personalities e.g. Juri. She was hilarious in the first episode.

ac0rn

tbh don't really recommend QP, the show itself wasn't worth watching. the kindgom/queendom show formats are so frustrating, as expected from mnet. if PD's looking for a competition show to watch, maybe Nizi Project season 1 since Niziu's set to make a korean debut this month?

Dan Pifko

I would recommend performance reactions from QP at least!

Ayeyassha

I don't think it would be all that necessary to watch the whole show imo. The performances were cool though! Maybe save your survival show thirst for a different one

I don't recommend watching the show I personally had a hard time watching it because of the editing that MNET went for, I didn't really like it, after some point they started to do live episode and it was draging everything also little by little, the budgets went ⇘ However definitely recommend at least going thought the performances they did : - All the contestants had solo performances for EP1 / EP2 (If someone had a playlist to give you for this, it would be cool, otherwise if you are interested I could try to make one) - They had RISE UP as a song with all the participants - 7:7 Team Battle (ended up being 6:6 BATTLE because Chaeyeon left and also Haein) : SNAP and CHARISMATIC Each has two team SNAP - PICK CAT / ATHENA + CHARISMATIC - DROP the Beat / PICK on the top You can watch the MVs version but I also liked the performance at the final where the two team who went against each others ended up performing together - REMIX BATTLE : ONLY ONE / SHUT DOWN / DON'T CALL ME / DANCE THE NIGH AWAY / FIGHTING / NXDE - All-Rounder Battle : You had a singing/rap section with RUSH HOUR / WEEK END + HOPELESS ROMANTIC / IF WE EVER MEET AGAIN + WANNABE / TIME OF OUR LIFE But also a dance section with BAD BLOOD/OVERWATER + GLOW UP / WEB - Semi-Final : PUZZLIN' / IDGA / I DO - Final : Billionaire / Last Piece For EL7ZUP as a whole, you could check Cheeky their debut, definitely recommend their cover of PINK VENOM, I know that they redid SNAP and BAD BLOOD but I don't have good quality video I think unfortunately
