This episode I found really satisfying bc we finallyyyy got the first taste of Loid doing what he’s set out to do the whole season so far. And that mixed with damien trying to make some kind of connection with his father in that moment, it all felt really tense and exciting.

This was indeed the season finale! :D Ep. 26 is basically Ep. 1 of Season 2. This episode being the season finale also makes sense because it's like one of the few episodes where something is actually happening that advances the main story. So far, despite being incredibly funny and entertaining, most episodes, especially in the second part of S1, mainly feel like "flavor of the week random missions" to me that don't really advance the plot in any way, which is my only critique for the anime so far. I personally really want to see more episodes like this one. But I guess this might also be the entire point of the anime and maybe it's not supposed to be a serious plot :D
