This reaction was surprising but awesome ☺️☺️☺️ Gunwook is very scary as an idol, it doesn’t make sense for a 18 year old to be this polished without having years of experience and training (I’m comparing to idols like Mark that trained like 5 years or more before debuting). Something that i’d like to point out that reminded me a lot of izone was the way Gyubin said that Tarae encouraged him a lot with his singing and we could see it too, I feel like they push each other to do better in all aspects and also teach each other new skills. It’s like izone was with Chaeyeon in dancing, Sakura went from struggling a lot to participating in the dance break during SSOTS, and by the end they had all learned a lot from each other. NOW, imagine a group that has literally a certified music teacher and a former dance teacher in it, besides the raw talent of members like Gunwook. I’m telling you, this group is aiming to be INSANE.

since you mentioned that this kinda resembles/represents the moments from Boys Planet that we never got to see, with the boys just casually in the dorms interacting etc, there is actually a whole playlist of behind the scenes content and deleted scenes from the show: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLeOretitgn-V-TgK1VQSOh2Rg-75htdQS while I personally don't think all of it is worth watching now that the show is long over (that would be 32 videos, even if some of them are on the short side), there are some that I loved watching just as much as the show if you ever decide you do want to check some of those videos out, I'm sure there'd be plenty patrons who could help figure out which ones would be worth it (I wouldn't mind giving my opinion either if wanted)

PD you should really check out Wild idol and you'll find that Gunwook is far more talented than you thought (he was even 17 at that time). Or you can check knowing brothers EP.402 and 403 first, please you really need to know your son not only dances well and sings well, he's also a true rapper who can even create awesome lyrics

God I absolutely cannot wait until you check out Hanbin's predebut videos. Hopefully you found some of his waacking battles against female dancers. It's all amazing but that's where the REAL entertainment is. This group is really full of surprises and they all mesh together perfectly.

its moments like this that make me so thankful for Gunwook fans coming through and getting him in the group. I'm so glad we're able see more of his talent through moments such as Taerae Show. Of course, I'm sure he would've been able to debut in some way, seeing as how everyone in the Top 18 has or will debut, but its just really nice to be able to witness ZB1 Gunwook :')

I actually don't mind that this show doesn't focus on Taerae and Hanbin (and to a lesser extent, Hao). I really like how this environment creates space for some of the members we don't hear sing quite as much to shine with songs of their choice--for example, I think this is the most I've ever heard Gyuvin or Jiwoong sing at once. And while we've had more exposure to Gunwook's singing than some of the others, he hasn't been given lines that show off his full potential in ZB1 songs so this environment lets us see a new side of him. I think it's nice that the members who get "main vocal" lines in ZB1 songs took a step back to let a lot of the others shine.
