Chaehyun is always so interesting to listen to because you can hear the former SM trainee when she sings. She originally joined SM and left the company at some point before Aespa debuted, but she never really changed the technique that she picked up at SM.

PD you have your facts wrong about Chaehyun's training: her 4 years as a trainee was under SM, she trained with the girls from Aespa. She is still friends with Karina till this day. Also don't want to give you more frustration but Chaehyun's company that she is going back to after Kep1er is....Wakeone. She was under them already before she joined Girls Planet.

You can really hear that she trained in SM. SM vocalists are just a different breed man :d It's been a while since I watched this Lee Mujin episode and I have to say that although I really like Kep1er's music especially from their recent mini albums, I still feel like Chaehyun is an unused weapon. Kep1er songs just can't do her vocals justice imo :D I just love her tone so so much.

Simple has been a favorite song of mine, I believe it was originally meant to be a vocal unit song but kept to be a Woozi solo—very happy to see Chaehyun do it! It’s a very woozi song so glad to see she made it her own and it did make me understand her voice color more

It’s the fact that all the Kep1er members are being done dirty by Wake One, it’s just so frustrating like the girls are good on their own but they’re being prevented from being GREAT, and it’s not their fault—it’s very clear all the girls want more for themselves but WHILE THEYRE IN KEP1ER those are members that couldn’t love their team more 😭

Im very sorry Hanni's duet but Chaehyun's duet is taking your place..MY GOD THEIR VOICE VERY MATCH EACH OTHER AND IM NOT KIDDING AND BY FAR THIS EP IS WHERE I SEE LEE MUJIN REALLY STRETCH HIS VOCALS AND I LOVE IT
