Damn, the way you describe the music when Kanroji comes in, is exactly what I felt. Her theme is such a banger as well, Demon Slayer music is just always crazy good.

Demon Slayer glosses over how old everyone is all the time so it’s so easy to forget that MUICHIRO IS 14!!! like they kept saying he’s the youngest Hashira but like they never say by how much and now everything makes sense, like ah yes that’s why he’s shorter than tanjiro and when he gets his memories back his roasting skills are PEAK

Liv

For age reference in season 3: Tanjiro: 16 yrs old Muichiro: 14 yrs old Nezuko: 14 yrs old Kotetsu: 10 yrs old Genya: 16 yrs old Kanroji: 19 yrs old Rengoku = 20 yrs old Tengen: 23 yrs old Kanao: 16 yrs old Shinobu: 18 yrs old Inousuke: 15 yrs old Zenitsu: 17 yrs old ~ may be off by a year or too, the manga isn’t too clear

People have always tried to rank the Hashira (it's a very controversial topic within the fandom), and there is no definitive ranking besides which one of them is the strongest. I personally believe that besides the one Hashira that is outright stated to be the strongest, the other eight are more or less interchangable in terms of strength because it's so hard to compare them based on their differences in battle styles, innate talent, etc. As for Tengen and Rengoku, there are reasons as to why they seem weak compared to Muichirou, and you can speculate on that later on. And for Gyokko, his backstory never gets revealed in the manga until much later in a future Fanbook. Perhaps in a future Taisho secret in an upcoming season you might learn of his backstory, but in case you don't, here's his backstory: Gyokko's human name is Managi and he lived alone on the outskirts of a fisherman village. He was known for collecting the corpses of fish, as well as doing a number of strange activities that led others to keep their distance from him. His parents died from a drowning incident and he became fascinated with their dead bodies, finding them to be beautiful. At some point, a child had teased Managi, which caused him to murder the child and stuff them in a jar/vase. After finding out, that child's parents stabbed Managi and left him to die in a fit of rage. Before dying, he was approached by Muzan and was then turned into a demon. As a demon, Gyokko preyed on the flesh of humans, especially the flesh of children, and mutilated his body to his own preference. So... yeah... that's Gyokko.

Oh, and Mitsuri's theme is actually also the ending for this season! The title of the song is Koi Kogare コイコガレ, with means things along the lines of yearning, admiration, and longing for love. Very fitting for the Love Hashira, no?

I love that mitsuri is so feminine but also strong, like usually if a female character is strong she isn’t so feminine and if she’s feminine they make her a damsel in distress but mitsuri is not that, also I love the fact that she’s so magical girl coded, like if she was in sailor moon she’d fit right in✨
