You DEFINITELY need to see the behind-the-scenes recordings of Nxde and Queencard. You will really appreciate how meticulous Soyeon is in regards to Idle's sound.

I really agreed with everything you said about Idle. I would opine that the reason Idle is so captivating in their performances is that everything they put out there is theirs. Their personality and style just shines through in everything they do, and it just makes for a very beautiful result. Combine that with a group that's collectively incredibly talented, incredibly hardworking, and lead by a woman who is a generational genius... it's easy to see why they have such a fascinating discography.

Soyeon just really blows my mind. I definitely recommend watching GIDLE recording for Nxde and Queencard, her focus and attention to details is so amazing, the difference in before and after her suggestions are clearly visible and it also shows the members approach to singing. They also have behind the scenes for Paradise and All Night. And I agree with you and Blaire, PD. While the group's charm is definitely their unique vocal tones, if Soyeon had not handled the song production the way she did, it wouldn't have reached this level. She made sure they had everybody's attention with Latata and the same with Tomboy, she knew what was at stake. I am astounded by her clarity and art. I think their improvement was most visible since I Burn. That album, the members' vocals were shining and since then they have only become better. I have high hopes for Heat, their English EP, even if they don't have a hand in writing and production, their choices are trustworthy.

Thank you for the reaction Soyeon Minnie and Yuqi are just a diffrent kind of beast you should really check out all the recording behinds from them its so amazing to see how each of them work with the same precision for their music yet have so wastly diffrent styles of directing. Soyeon especially Soyeon as she has now done a lot of directing outside of Gidle i really hope you watch MtG and see the impact she has as a mentor despite being the youngest mentor Also Soyeon just have to add that she is also a amazing vocalist the way she sang Hann(alone in winter) its just amazing

Soyeon has said that Hann, Hann from I Burn, and Hwaa are a trilogy (in that order), which is probably why they were played back to back!

Yup... interestingly enough though, besides those three... The order of their Killing Voice songs is mostly just how they released all their songs chronologically. Fascinating that their title tracks over time just flows really well from one to the next. Can definitely see the journey the group has gone through progressively with each song.
