He sang Camelia. I was floored when it came out and devastated that he didnt make it through

I.N is such a precious person. He did amazing here! Something really funny is he went to film Idol Theater after this. It was really cute when he was telling the members about the songs that he sang here!

I.N made me so proud of him like I'm her older sister 😂. Like I watched him grow and become amazing as he is now. PD you have to listen to his covers, my personal favorite is "Memory of your scent". The recent intro video for their 5 Star album, members siscussed how hard working each member is to improve themselves and made each member motivated to work harder. I.N even goes to a vocal coach Seungmin goes to outside JYP. He is definitely more confident now and I love how other members shower him with love and compliments. One of the many things that I love about SKZ is that they love each member so much that they shower each other with compliments and love which make them more comfortable. They're really a family. Hyunjin even said that he is confident that their group is one of the most close and affectionate group out there. As a SKZ fan, I can really feel that. Thanks for the amazing reaction to their episodes. ♥️

Fun fact. The singer of Nerd Connection Youngjoo (the band that originally song the duet song) was also on ‘Sing Again’ season 1 with Lee Mujin. The show that caused Lee Mujin to shoot up in popularity. Youngjoo had some really nice duets with Lunafly’s Yun on that show, for those that know/knew Lunafly

when you said "wtf are the people at jyp saying to him", damn that gave me flashbacks to the stray kids survival show lol jyp himself said some not so nice things about I.N's singing early on, and I think he (and skz in general) has gotten a lot of hate for being "bad singers" (like b*tch where??) early on in their career, I think mostly because of how well known they were for their rap; obviously, the members weren't as good at singing than that they are now, but I personally don't think they were ever bad by any means, and it is just natural (or at least it should be imo) that artists grow over the course of their career... anyways, I got off topic oops what I really wanted to say is that I.N used to really struggle with confidence when it comes to his singing abilities partly due to the immense (and somewhat unproductive) criticism and hate he received but over the last 2ish yrs you can really tell that he has grown both in skill and in confidence and I could not be more proud

JJ

he also started taking lessons outside of jyp alongside seungmin and I honestly think credit goes to the boys for actively seeking out training that benefits them more and their new coach

I.N has put in so much hard work and effort into sounding the way he does and I feel like this episode really helped cement his confidence in his growth! I'm so so proud of him 😭 He's had it pretty hard, and has said that he probably would've debuted much later in another group (as the leader and/or eldest probably, isn't that a thought!) if it hadn't been for Chan choosing him for his team, and ultimately the survival show- which, as someone else mentioned, was especially hard on him (JYP went as far as to just remove him from the vocal performance altogether during the YG and JYP battles?!). I also love that SKZ has actually strayed from the JYP style of singing, and decided that no, they want to know what works for /them/ as is the SKZ way and it allowing their vocalists to really bulldoze past any limits that the company could puts on their skills and styles!

As someone who is like a 'toddler' Stay (Maniac era) - these lmjs videos really opened my eyes about the members, but nothing "took me to church" like I.Ns episode. As someone who had never heard any of these songs (aside from Hug Me), I was floored the first time I heard them. Not a single one of them are even in a style I'd seek out to listen to, but if I.N put out a solo album today, in this sort of genre, I'd be first in line to buy it. His voice is magical. Also, if we don't get a Trot style song of his own making, I'll be devastated. I've waited all month for this reaction from PD and Blaire (whom I've only recently come to know and really love your input) and this did not disappoint! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in August (health and weather permitting)

i’ve been really drawn to i.n recently! i became a stay when they released hellavator, stuck around until maybe 2021 when i was kinda drifting away from a lot of kpop fandoms and became a very casual fan, then got back into skz (not really a stay, but i do keep up with all their comebacks again and sometimes listen to their albums and watch variety stuff). when i got back into skz, i.n had matured and grown as a person/idol/artist so much! i was like “who is this man, where did the baby bread go??” so i’ve been paying more attention to him, especially with their last few comebacks, so this episode felt almost satisfying. like i’ve been wanting to see SOMETHING from him but didn’t know what exactly, and then this episode was exactly what i hoped for.

2023-08-09 01:25:42 I feel like IN is still very much a hidden gem in SKZ, his singing tone is insane, the vocal power and technique he possesses are insane, yet it doesn't really showcase in SKZ's song. That's why I'm really grateful for this show, IN could pick and choose the songs that let him shine <3
