YESS IM SO READY FOR THIS and oh no that is the expected reaction to attitude haha, the only way to react to it is to overreact! this album gives me so much autistic joy! from their vocals to the production i feel so immersed in each song also these songs are unit songs: wishlist - chaeyoung, jiwon in the mirror - seoyeon, nagyung don’t care - jiwon, jisun, seoyeon, nagyung prom night - saerom, hayoung, chaeyoung, jiheon (those high notes you thought were jiwon were hayoung)

PD, you HAVE to watch the Attitude live stages now. While Hayoung and Jiwon ATE vocally, I feel like Chaeyoung, Saerom and Seoyeon ATE with the choreo and stage presence.

The most conversational member was Gyuri, since she lived in Virginia for a year, and then Saerom would be next best. I’d say that Jiwon has the least fear with English, which makes it so she uses it more and makes her seem more competent too. Saerom and Jiwon did most of the English speaking back in the day too (when Fromis_9 was promoting as 8 during DKDK and came to KCON in the US)

I'm so happy you enjoyed that amazing piece of work as well! I'm a flover since love bomb cause I felt in love with the way they can deliver emotion in a kpop song. That album might be my favorite ever (and I am very much a multistan), it's so cohesive and I can tell they poured their heart on every each song. At the end of it I was crying as well cause I know how hard they work and how deserving they are, also it's a relief for me that they have an amazing team backing them up, I'm sure they'll keep delivering us great music. 12/10. My favorite bsides (I already love #menow very much) are prom night, what I want, eye contact, attitude (cause I love when they get dangerous lol) and bring it on.

i think the one that sings high note in Prom Night is Hayoung, not Jiwon. but i could understand that bc i was realised once that i was wrong wrong after i listened to this album non-stop for weeks when i decided to look up the line distribution of all songs here. and i also shocked with how much improved some of the members in their vocal that i could not notice before knowing the true line distribution. maybe you should try listening to the album with line distribution too next time!

Thank you too for being a fan!! I had such a good time- some of the details you pointed out make me appreciate the songs even more than I already did. Glad I'm also not the only one who cried listening to those melodies in Eye Contact lol (also that specific line you asked about in the outro, it was Jiwon). I'm so proud of the girls for sticking together through it all; and even though sadly Hybe seems to give them the Cinderella treatment when it comes to promo, I'm glad they at least go all out in the album production.

the Hybe acquisition hasn't exactly been smooth sailing for fromis -- horrible promotions, that weird 1-month social media blackout, delaying the comeback by 3 months (this album was supposed to be out in March!!), severely reduced content output (seriously, it's been 7 months since the last episode of Channel_9). but if there's one thing i'll praise Hybe for, it's that they've done a great job of establishing and further developing fromis_9's sound. every single song on this album HITS, and they all manage to sound so different from past fromis while still keeping that signature earnest sound. of course, a lot of credit goes to the girls too. their vocals always serve and the member-produced songs on this album are some of the best in their whole discography. overall, Unlock My World is maybe their most emotional album, despite not having any of the typical kpop slow ballads in it. 22nd Century Girl will always be my number 1 fromis song, but this is hands down my favourite album they've ever put out. truly a masterpiece, as you've called it.

PD I was very emotional as well listening to this album. They have come so far, I am sincerely hoping for 1) fromis on dingo, their discography is too good and deserving of an opportunity; and 2) fromis world tour. Now that they have their lightstick, I hope the company can organize international concerts for them :( (also.. eye contact is TOTALLY a concert closing song!!!)

So proud of them, what an excellent all round album. Prom Night the stand out for me but there's not a weak song on there. that was great, thanks. loved this album. some of my favorites are attitude, in the mirror, prom night and eye contact, but i love the entire thing. just wanted to thank you also for promoting fromis_9. i think your yt reactions helped me to pay more attention to their music last year, and ended up as a flover. attending their concert last year is still one of my core and most cherished memories. will continue to send them love and support from over here in the philippines
