PD and Blaire!!!! DK danced to Pink Venom during last carat land, so that's why he knows the coreo so well but yeah he takes it so seriously and does it so well, he could be BPs 5th member 😂

the reason for the spanish subtitle is so the watcher can tell the difference when they switch from korean to a different language (english)

Yep. Cause the rule was “no other languages” so for anyone that is using the subtitles that can’t actually hear the original audio it was a way for them to show that they’d switched languages.

I think they were using spanish to demostrate on the english subtitles when the members were speaking in english, other way we would not see the difference on the subs as korean is also translated to english. But it seems like they were only doing it when the score had to be reset because it would have been very confusing if they used it all the time I guess

I love LOVE everything! Can't express it enough how much joy and fun this Game Caterers x SEVENTEEN brings. And now, we can look forward for more. Youth Over Flowers~ It's actually funny how after the release of the eps, we noticed that the members are bringing huge bags whenever they go out. It was like they're always ready to be kidnapped😅 Hmm, Jeonghan has always been an ACE to me in sports. He's known to play all the ball games so well. Plus he's smart and strategic. Imagine if he also has the stamina of an athlete... that's scary. I really think Jeonghan 'cheating' or basically making some chaos on games and stuff is just him wanting some more spice to their contents. He has been implying that subtly too. None of his actions are actually ill-intended or 'evil' and they're the other way around. He just wants to make it more fun to the members and viewers. As you've seen, he's not really 'competitive' or passionate himself, so for me, what he does isn't for his personal gains too. Also, I have a soft spot with roommates Jeonghan-Seungkwan. They must've bonded even more after staying in their dorm together. We could see their teamwork shine here. And the subtitles... I feel like it was a bit easier to me since I know simple Spanish but it still was confusing and then frustrating when I first watch the ep. How much more to those who don't. I thought hard of what pros it has and I figured one: For the (i-)Carats with hearing disability. With the subtitles, they'll be able to distinguish when the members were speaking another language... Though I think it's still better to just have the English words in a different text fonts or have them in italicized/bold texts.

I can't wait for Youth Over Flowers! The members, since after filming keep walking around when they're filming or doing other work with big bags, so it feels like they're trying to be prepared 😂 Also some members said it'll be hard to trick them cause Seungcheol always checks/knows their schedules and he'd be able to spot something that's fake/off and he'd question it right away, so good luck to NaPD and the company! And yeah, as everyone else explained, the Spanish was meant to be a visual aid basically whenever they broke the rules and spoke English, so for the eng subs they changed whatever word was said by the members that wasn't allowed, into another language. It honestly confused everyone when the episodes aired too, so you're not alone in that.

Oh my gosh, yes the DK cover!! I love those "songs that don't suit you" caratland covers they're so fun and DK COMMITTED SO HARD. Also, I haven't seen Youth over Flowers, but I am mourning Na PD's budget rn. Best of luck. I'm so glad you did these reactions, thank you!! Regarding the Spanish/English subbing thing, I think the translators for this were trying to create the same effect of having a base language that you switch from to a “foreign” language. Since the subs are written in English, they were trying to make a way where watchers would see the fact that they are speaking another language and need to be punished for that reason since it’s a Korean-only game. Basically, “But if everything around it is written in English how do we indicate that they broke the rules of the game and used a foreign language?” So, in trying to indicate the incorporation of “foreign” words they decided on using the Spanish word since the base language for the subs is English. But, since we recognize the English words, usually, the subs not matching what we hear or what is written in the hard subs just ended up being confusing lol. The type of translation they did for this would probably work better in a translation of a book where the reader needs to interpret a game about accidentally using 'foreign' words wherein the reader might not know the context or the players or have any frame of reference for what's going on, but we as watchers do have that context and the associated video and sound, so it doesn't work as well

Omg DK was just the star of episode 3-1 😂😂😂 his INSANE pink venom cover and picking the youth over flowers ticket! Yes his dancing was perfect, both masculine and feminine and I was here for it! 👏🏽👏🏽 my bias showing out! Also the basketball game was hilarious LOL jeonghan was playing with EASE. He's so unbothered I love it! Idk if you guys saw but there's pics all over the internet of SVT wearing huge backpacks waiting to get kidnapped haha. I think the staff is trying to do it before they start enlisting! My boys aghhhh this was so much fun. Thank you both 💛

Yeaah, Jeonghan really doesn’t seem to listen to any kpop 😂 i think he once worded it as like “I like soccer but I don’t like watching soccer….I like basketball but I don’t like watching basketball….” which makes it v noteworthy when he actually does mention something kpop-related

Jeonghan is very much the type of person who only cares about the things in his life and nothing else. Seventeen always say that Jeonghan only cares about seventeen and it’s very apparent when they were doing the music quiz. He is an island reserved only for seventeen and a select few people. If it’s not already in his life, Jeonghan probably will not go out of his way to involve himself with it unless the members themselves drag him along
