I'll probably need one! I joined yesterday and it says it will charge me again April 1st, which means tomorrow in Mexico time 😢 I'll let you know through DM if that happens :)

Patreon charges on the first of every month or whenever you join within the month. Unfortunately that means that if you join on the last day of the month, you will be charged for the month you are in and then again on the 1st for the next month. Just something to remember if you join (or rejoin) Patreons in the future.

Yeah! I didn’t know that, i noticed once I had paid😅 PD is the second patreon I have ever joined and I guess for the first one I never noticed because I joined at the beginning of the month… thank you for explaining tho! I’ll keep it in mind for next time

Oh actually I’m in a similar position. I joined yesterday where it on Patreon said the next charge would be 1st of May but then in the email confirmation it said the next charge would be April 1st :( If I get charged again today I will DM you! Have a good rest PD!

What about if you cancelled prematurely 😅, I’m used to it renewing on the first of every month but I just noticed after I cancelled that it said it’d be renewed the date I joined the previous month instead

you should never join a patreon by the end of months cause you're always going to get charged on the 1st every month. So let's say you want to join on the 27th, you pay on the day you join and then again on the 1st. That is why pd in the past always recommended waiting those few days before joining. Idk if you will be refunded put i thought i would just give you a tip

I think it charges you on the 1st of the month, regardless of when you start your sub. Works that way for almost all Patreons.
