Jimin was epic, iconic, the greatest. For me he is THE KING. I could never like never could imagine he would release something like this, so unexpectedly amazing. Like I always knew he would be amazing, I mean he is Jimin, he is art. He never disappoints. But this was epic, I have never seen something like this in K-pop. This 10 years waiting for his solo debut, WORTH IT, I’m in peace after this. Also, I love your reaction, was amazing, just like I imagined you would react when I first saw that video. Also, the dance practice, is amazing, those transitions that you wanted to see, can be seen there very well. Pd: at the begging of the video you said that you expect his solo debut would be an emotional pop song/r&b, like black swan; and omg I don’t know how this song is going to be, but Like crazy the title track in the teaser sounds just exactly like that, like it sounds like it’s gonna be THE SONG. Also jimin himself said that it was an emotional pop song. So I believe is going to be amazing. As always thank you for your hard work and Blaire’s. You seem very happy these days, that is awesome.

Performance video - it's not the same, but they did upload a dance practice ;) it's as epic as Run BTS. Also, this song gives me HUGE 'ON' vibes and I'm not mad about that at all!

41 mins PD, thanks for my lunch time entertainment ! 😂 (blaire your hair is gorgeous!) btw 'going insane to stay sane' was actually referencing a line from BTS's 'ON' :) [미치지 않으려면 미쳐야 해] and pretty sure the last bit of the choreo is like a throwback to his 'Lie' choreo too! i love this so much it was a complete and utter shock. so not what i expected, but also of course he would be this amazing. Jimin is a king. no one is ready for the title/album !! he's gonna surprise us again for sure. Can't wait for you to check out the dance prac + the shooting sketch :)

aaa!!! i said the exact same thing about how yoongi would fit perfectly in the second verse 😆 set me free pt 2 is truly one of the best releases i've ever seen. it's funny how PD mentioned jimin making ripples; the german poem that's on jimin's body starts with: "I live my life in widening circles / that reach out across the world. / I may not complete this last one / but I give myself to it." every solo release of a bangtan member just cements the fact that the group reached this kind of success because each and every one of them just has IT. they're doing what they want to do, in the way the want to do it. they make me so proud !! thanks for the reaction 🫶

PD you’ll definitely need to check out the dance practice and maybe the behind the scenes of the MV. Jimin explains a lot about the concepts they worked on. Also he’ll be on Suchwita which is going to release on Monday. He prerecorded a performance and interview on Jimmy Fallon too so you definitely need to watch that when it comes out at the end of this week! And the fact that today Set Me Free Pt2 won its first music show win just makes the timing of this perfect

PD when you react to the album please look up the hidden 7th track Letter! It’s a CD only song but it’s probably my favorite song on the album and Jungkook sang backing vocals for it

I really loved it and I was definitely surprised when I first heard it. I didn’t think Jimin would go this route but i'm so glad he did. You both are some of the only reactors to understand what Jimin might’ve meant by "set me free." The main problem is nobody had any background on who Jimin was before so they thought he wanted to be set free from BTS. But as a genuine fan I concluded that he wanted to be free from his old ways, old insecurities, and anything in the past that was holding him back emotionally or personally. Regardless I really loved it and the album is amazing as well.

I'm so genuinely excited for your reaction to the title track MV, the album itself, the dance practices AND the live performances. We're really being spoiled. I will say though, 7 tracks (including the hidden track) were NOT enough lol. It was so good, even 20 tracks wouldn't have been enough
