the Rigend Film team is INSANE, I really want them to work with Stray Kids in the future

While this is 1000% their best production yet with the quality and budget alone, I honestly enjoy the meticulous details stitching the song to concept the most! You said you thought you’ve already seen the sinful concept from TBZ before, but this one is quite literally that on the nose. They actually have been doing a bit of concept lore to connect their most recent comebacks. In Maverick, they all died in the survival game (except Eric who wins which coincidentally tied in with his hiatus during Whisper). For Whisper, they become angels, and for Roar, they then turn into fallen angels. It’s referenced directly in the chorus “fallen angel is my name, I turn my back on paradise only then I am free”. With the set you said was cool, it’s meant to symbolize the gateway/entrance to hell presumably and at the end during the rain scene it turns red to represent the other side where they’ve now entered. Another detail would be the tags they tear to break free from society (the shoes in the beginning descend from white to black). But besides that, I’m really glad you enjoyed this comeback from them!! I know you were a bit underwhelmed by their Thrill Ride album but I think you’ll really enjoy the vibe on this one!

Q literally ate up that choreo, this was such a good song, concept and choreo for all of them tho! I agree this mv is the first one that has that same impact as their performances from rtk/kingdom. I'm glad they were able to showcase their skills more because they are such a talented group. also, if you have time please watch the dance practice. their dancing is just so good!

I was so excited for you to react to this mv because we all know how much u love rigend film, and i agree this is truly a turning point for tbz since Whisper era wasn't that great for them, in terms of enjoying the promotions/results (imo it was terrible and IST did the bare minimum) but this time the members themselves did a lot for the production of the album and mv. Also Rigend Film is known for their production quality and attention to detail so it was truly the best partner for a comeback!!

This was definitely my favorite kpop mv in a long time, I feel like lately not a lot of companies goes this hard in producing a music video where it makes me feel very overwhelmed by everything I'm watching. I feel like the last mv that made me feel like this was hot by Seventeen and after my research, it was also directed by rigend film lol. I've never seen a rain scene this beautiful in kpop

PD u have to listen to their album it is absolutely magnificent! This comeback is honestly one of their best. Every member had their moment to shine in the video and honestly their live performance is also incredible. Younghoon really stood out in this one and they gave him the right parts which I’m glad u also noticed. They’ve always been S tier to me and their discography is absolutely incredible. I really hope u check out more of their content. Like their variety stuff and music videos for Universe. They’re just incredible performers and musicians

2023-03-21 19:12:40 the members (especially kevin) have been voicing their dissatisfaction last year about what they were able to do, they were disappointed with their work last year and really took it to heart to create something that they’re proud of this time, and you really tell! a lot of the members had more input into the comeback and it’s absolutely insane. excited for you to see the bsides, and hopefully we can see some more tbz content creep back onto here! :)

They really leveled up in all ways, it's so cohesive and really showcases their talent. I feel like I've been waiting for them to put out something that shows off how good they are, because they should be on the same level as all the other big boy groups but it's always felt like their company was throwing paint at a wall and trying to see what stuck even so many years after debut. This mini and this comeback in general actually seem to have a cohesive vision and it's perfect. Their b-side Savior in particular is R&B boy band perfection.
