For the longest time, moas always made jokes about how Soobin was the only I (introvert) in txt actually! I think hueningkai flip flopped a bit but he’s back to also having an I in his MBTI, same with Beomgyu. It’s interesting how you said that personality doesn’t really show that well on variety shows—which is true—but I’ve always taken note of how calm Soobin is in comparison to everyone else lol, like on a very early episode of to do, Soobin has been compared to being as calm as still water? And….you do see that sometimes, where txt is going kinda crazy while Soobin is the one single spot of calmness in the shot….it’s pretty funny and peculiar.

Taehyun is an extrovert! It honestly surprised me hearing it at first, especially because he seems like the quiet, curious type but after watching so much of their content it seems like it's because he's the kind of person who only speaks when they find something of purpose to say. He's not the type to add fire to the other members' chaotic behavior. Huening Kai and Beomgyu are also both introverts. Beomgyu, even though he's this really chaotic person with a never-ending motor in his mouth the members thought he was very quiet when they first met him. Soobin and Yeonjun seem like your classic introvert and extrovert. I think the other members are interesting cases in terms of personality because when it comes to a lot of variety content, they project the opposite of what they seem. Then again, introvert and extrovertedness don't mean shy and unshy it's more about how you get energized. Taehyun and Yeonjun get energized being around people; Beomgyu, Soobin (being "pro gamers") and Huening Kai like getting energized being by themselves or just closer people. I think they seem like otherwise on most variety shows because they are playing it up as you say, but they also feel comfortable behaving like so because they're comfortable together. In a lot of groups, you'd probably expect a louder or bolder person to lead the group, but to me it fits TXT's image a lot. Like Soobin mentions, because he doesn't stand out and instead blends with the members, he balances things out. I think the members have mentioned in interviews how they don't really argue often, and I think a lot of it is due to the balance they create with one another + their leader's ability to be very objective and optimistic. He reminds me of the phrase "leading from behind".

it's so funny the difference between those who mainly know the members through variety content versus those who have watched everything of theirs. soobin seems more quiet in variety content, but has a fuckin motor mouth on his solo vlives. beomgyu is a chaotic menace in variety, but has a very calming, warm, softspoken aura when alone. and taehyun actually being the most extroverted out of the members ahahaha. they're all so interesting individually and I'm excited to see y'all continue to learn more about them !!

TXT started off when they debut as 4 members are extrovert with their introvert leader. Now Huening Kai & Beomgyu are now introvert but they are loud introvert. Both them change from E to I when they redo their MBTI test last year. They can be loud when you see them on To Do but they have quiet time. If you want to see Beomgyu during quiet time is when he do solo vlive/weverse live. You can see his warmth personalities with MOA. I hate when certain "moa" said Beomgyu is only scream and chaotic 24/7 when they dont even see this side of him. You can see Huening Kai's maturity when he do interview especially when it comes to question about his work. Soobin can be shy or quiet but he can be chaotic. I've seen clips of him taking care of the members when they were mob at the airport. He can be all smiling but I've see his angry face especially when MAMA 2021 cut off his speech. (if you see people who seldom get mad becoming angry, you know how bad the things went down). I'm thankful & happy Youngji said he do a good job as leader. Soobin is a straightforward, he will tell you as it is.

Taehyun is actually an extrovert! And it’s so funny how you got his habit of listening with his mouth open!! Spot on! But yeah he’s an extrovert. You’ll realize it too when you watch more from them but he’s more of the type who really doesnt care about telling other people what he thinks and he will act on it without being shy. He’s also the one who initiates conversations with their sunbaenims, like he contact jhope when he needs advise and stuff. He’s not shy at all which I guess makes him an extrovert? They used to call Soobin the Introvert leader in a group of Extroverts but recently Beomgyu’s saying his personality now is more of an Introvert tho I think the pandemic made alot of people introverts.

Beomgyu mentioned this once during a live when they were touring that soobin’s leader moments all happen off camera. Bc to him, those are private moments and doesn’t want anyone to think he’s just doing all this bc the camera is on.
